The film has seen a phenomenal run standing at number three for the year and ahead of films like WAR 2, RAID 2, SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and HOUSEFULL 5. The film is also the third biggest HIT of the year after CHHAAVA and SAIYAARA.

The film has added another 60 crore nett in all the other languages in South for a total of 246 crore nett. The film did well in Nizam Andhra down South collecting around 50 crore nett which includes numbers for the Hindi version and Marathwada. Mumbai is the best circuit with a huge 85 crore nett while Delhi/UP crossed 50 crore nett and will finish at around 53 crore nett.

The film picked up 34 crore nett in week one and then 55 crore nett in week two with another 52.50 crore nett coming in week three. The trend of the film is just extraordinary and even two huge releases have not made much of a dent. It went down on Thursday when the biggies released but was straight back up the next day.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had another strong weekend as it collected almost 18 crore nett in its fourth weekend and this despite a huge release like WAR 2 for competition. The film is showing a drop of around 55% only from the last weekend despite the heavy competition. The film showed a drop on the last day of its third week as the WAR 2 hit cinemas but it recovered well the next day as it was a holiday. Then, it has maintained over the weekend.

The film will be crossing the business of the likes of HOUSEFULL 5, SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and RAID 2 over the next 2-3 days making it the third highest grosser in Hindi this year. This week, the film will not see competition and so, it does have a shot at that 200 crore nett mark as long as the weekdays this week hold up well enough.

The film has scored well in the South also with the Telugu version showing collections of 40 crore nett till date. The collections of the film from all versions has crossed the 200 crore nett mark and stands at around 209 crore nett after its fourth weekend. From here, it should finish at around 250 crore nett. The film saw its first major drop on Monday if we take out the day when WAR 2 released as that drop was inevitable. The Monday drop meant the chance of hitting 200 crore nett is pretty much impossible. The film stands at 166 crore nett after 4 weeks.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA collected 1.25 crore nett on its fifth Friday which is a similar collection to the Friday before. The trend of the film has been to show huge jumps over the weekend if we take out last week which was a holiday weekend. This should be the trend again this weekend.

The film had crossed the business of the likes of HOUSEFULL 5 and SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and now has crossed RAID 2 as well. It stands only behind CHHAAVA and SAIYAARA. The film now stands at 175 crore nett and in the final count it is going to ahead of WAR 2 as it looks to be heading for a finish in the 185-190 crore nett range.

The film has done extraordinary business since it released on Saturday and Sunday and it was no different this week as Saturday saw huge growth again. On Sunday, the film went a leg higher with a phenomenal 40% jump. The family crowd is coming out in numbers in the weekends. Meanwhile, the third weekend amounts to 39 crore nett which pretty much tells the story of the film.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continues to dominate the box office as it collected 5 crore nett on its third Friday which is more than three times higher than the first Friday and is just 10% less than the second Friday. The film is heading for another phenomenal week as it gets the benefit of the Raksha Bandhan period.

There was no competition at the box office this week enabling the film to show a good jump from its Thursday numbers. The new releases were films like ANDAAZ 2 and ZORA which had little chance at the box office. This is a rare feat and has not happened in the modern era that a film has jumped so much in the second week. The film stands at 87 crore nett and will be at 100 crore nett plus by the end of the third weekend.

The film has collected 117 crore nett in all versions driven by Hindi and Telugu versions. The film may look one from the South as its from Hombale films who have made films like KGF and KANTARA. But this is because the producers could not find backing in Mumbai as they did the rounds of the studios in Mumbai with the film but found takers in South.

The total collections of the film stand at 78 crore nett in 11 days. The second week has so far collected 46 crore nett and it will be a second week which will be around 54 crore nett making it the third best total for a Hindi film in week two It easily beats the numbers of film like SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and RAID 2.

The film is also scoring huge numbers in the Telugu market with a total of 24 crore nett in Nizam/Andhra and much of this is in Telugu language. The all India collections in all versions have crossed 100 crore nett and stand at around 105 crore nett.

The animation film MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continued its upward trend on Wednesday as the collections even went a little higher than Tuesday. The film was aided by the cheaper tickets rates on Tuesday but there was no such thing on Wednesday. The film collected 5.65 crore nett on Wednesday which is around 15 lakhs nett higher than the previous day.

This 15 lakh number is not much but it has to be seen in the context that Tuesday jumped 35% aided by discounted tickets and the film has managed to add from there as well. The film has brought out a crowd which will not be the regular film watching crowd and its impossible to judge how long this crowd will keep on coming.

It is confirmed that the film is going to have its best days on Saturday and Sunday and a huge second weekend. The animation film MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had a fantastic first week collecting a little over 32 crore nett despite starting with an opening day number of only 1.50 crore nett. The film has also scored in Nizam/Andhra with the Telugu version doing very well and has collected 10.50 crore nett in that circuit including collections from the Hindi version. The all India collections for the film are around around 43-43.50 crore nett.

The film has a budget of around 22-23 crore including release costs which is high for an animation film made in India but that has been practically covered with first weeks collections as the all India theatrical share will be 21-22 crore. The film is easily the highest Indian animation film beating the 22 crore nett number of CHAAR SAHIBZAADE (2014). Not only that, it will also become the highest grossing animation film ever released in India today as it beat the 46 crore nett of SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (2023).

The top animation films before this film were all Hollywood films but 50 crore nett is yet to be breached and MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA will be the first to do so. The way its going, it will also should breach the 100 crore nett level at an all India level. The film was released on almost 500 cinemas in Hindi and that is gone up everyday and on Monday it will be even higher.

The film also released in South languages out which Telugu scored very well as it collected around 3.75 crore nett in Nizam/Andhra in all languages with the bulk coming in Telugu. The growth in Nizam/Andhra was very strong as well. The all India collections of the film are 16-16.25 crore nett and it will easily become the highest grossing Indian animation film in a day or so beating Punjabi film CHAAR SAHIBZAADE (2014).

The box-office is in great shape at present with SAIYAARA continuing to rock the box office and now this animation film MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA looks set to be a HIT. SAIYAARA collected around 26.50 crore nett on its second Saturday which is pretty much similar to its last Saturday. This takes the film to well over 200 crore nett at 216.50 crore nett and its looking to target 300 crore by the end of this week.

The growth on Saturday was around 50% and the film will be looking at a 75 crore nett second weekend which is just around 5% less than the first weekend. The holds on the weekdays will not be as the first week as that was just extraordinary and the film was gaining pace and that is not the case this week. The film will be the top grosser of 2025 in most of the circuits setting targets for the bigger films to chase. Its unthinkable that SAIYAARA would be setting the targets in the likes of Rajasthan and Bihar for the big releases in the second half of the year.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA (Hindi) is set for a run as it shows huge growth on its second to collect around 3.25 crore nett which is more than double the first day number. The film will be the highest grossing animation film of all time by the end of its first weekend but there is a lot to more to come from this film. Despite coming out of nowhere, the film has that REACH and is doing well across the Hindi belt which ensures weekday holds and the film going on a good run for weeks.

Both the films are huge surprises. SAIYAARA surprises with the level of its success as it goes for a 400 crore nett plus finish while the fact that MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA has succeeded itself is a surprise as animation films have a bad record and struggle to collect. There is this belief in the industry that the audiences are not coming into theatres today. But these two films prove otherwise and these two are hardly big films or even close. Its about catering to the core audience with the right content and there will be no looking back. 

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA may well turn out to be the first animation HIT film in Hindi. Animation films have a very poor record with only HANUMAN in 2005 being a bonafide success and though it did well, it was not what you would call a HIT film. The film grossed around 5.50 crore nett way back in 2005 with 12 lakh footfalls.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA has opened to around 1.35 crore nett on its first day in Hindi which is surprise and a huge number for animation films as no film has even hit the 75 lakh nett mark. The film has been dubbed into the South languages where Telugu is pretty good but the others are very poor. The collections from the other languages maybe around 35-40 lakhs nett but the story of this film will be about the Hindi version.

The film was released in 400 screens apprx in Hindi and that count will be higher on Saturday and its likely that the film will be the highest grossing animation film in Hindi by the end of the weekend. If the film holds well from there, it will the first animation HIT film in Hindi. The biggest Indian animation film is CHAAR SAHIBZAADE (2014) but that film was a Punjabi film.
