The animation film MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continues its fantastic run as it picks up 5.50 crore nett on day eight. The collections are pretty much similar to Thursday and are 300% higher than the first day which is just phenomenal. The film stands at 37.50 crore nett in Hindi and its all India numbers in all versions have hit the 50 crore nett mark making it the highest animation film ever in India beating the likes of SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (2023) and FROZEN 2 (2019).

The first week collections of the film were around 32 crore nett and it is pretty certain that the second week will go higher; this actually gives a film a shot at 100 crore nett in its Hindi version alone. A lot will depend on the weekday collections of the film and if these hold well, then there will be a good chance the film is going to do 100 crore nett. There will be WAR 2 coming in its fourth week but this film has a different audience and can do business post the release of the spy flick.

If the present momentum maintains, it could even be around the 100 crore nett by the time WAR 2 arrives but you except the pace to slow at some point as the film is going to have a phenomenal run for ten days. The collections on second Saturday and second Saturday will easily be the best of the run and lets see if it manages a double digit day which would never have happened for a film opening under 1.50 crore.
