MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continues to dominate the box office as it collected 5 crore nett on its third Friday which is more than three times higher than the first Friday and is just 10% less than the second Friday. The film is heading for another phenomenal week as it gets the benefit of the Raksha Bandhan period.

There was no competition at the box office this week enabling the film to show a good jump from its Thursday numbers. The new releases were films like ANDAAZ 2 and ZORA which had little chance at the box office. The latter was directed by Rajiv Rai who has earlier made films like TRIDEV, VISHWATMA, MOHRA and GUPT in his filmography as director but those films were in a different era and were also star driven films.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA has collected 93.50 crore nett till date and is likely to cross the 100 crore nett mark today in Hindi. The week will be shortened with the release of WAR 2 on Thursday but still the film can aim to beat its first week business.
