MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continued to score on its third Monday with collections of 3.25 crore nett which takes the film to a huge 131.50 crore nett. The third week business of the film is should cross 50 crore nett though it will not hit the levels of of week two. Still, the third week is going to be more than 50% higher than the first week.

In Mumbai circuit, the film is going to beat the numbers of films like SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and HOUSEFULL 5 in the next couple of days. The film will be standing at around 140 crore nett after three weeks and it should comfortably go past 150 crore nett despite the big releases this week. The success of the film is similar to the likes of THE KASHMIR FILES and THE KERALA STORY with the difference being that this is an animation. But generally the Hindu family audience has patronized the film in a big way.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA went crazy on its third Saturday as it collected 15.50-15.75 crore nett which takes the film to 109 crore nett and its heading for a 150 crore nett plus even though there will be big releases next week. It was Raksha Bandhan on Saturday which helped the film but still to have a 200% jump is phenomenal with collections at these levels.

The film will be looking at a third weekend which is higher than its second weekend and on top of that, the third weekend was higher than the first weekend. It is phenomenal trending and its surprise SUPER HIT film which could even turn out to be a BLOCKBUSTER.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had an extraordinary third weekend of 39 crore nett as it recorded huge numbers on Saturday and Sunday of 15 crore plus nett on each day which was over treble the business on Friday which was 5 crore nett. The Raksha Bandhan period helped but the film has also generated a craze with a section of the audience. The first weekend was 12 crore nett and then the second was 35 crore nett. Meanwhile, the third weekend amounts to 39 crore nett which pretty much tells the story of the film.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA has a total of 128 crore nett in Hindi so far and is cruising to the 150 crore nett even though there will be a huge reduction in shows from Thursday. The film has 45 crore nett in Mumbai and 27 crore nett in Delhi/UP.  In Nizam/Andhra, it has a huge 36 crore nett out of which only 2 crore nett is Hindi with the rest has come from the Telugu version.

The all India collections of the film are roughly 128 crore nett in Hindi and then a further 34 crore nett from Nizam/Andhra; there is a further 9 crore nett coming from rest of South in local languages for an all India total 171 crore nett which keeps puts it in line for a 200 crore nett plus total on all versions.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continues to dominate the box office as it collected 5 crore nett on its third Friday which is more than three times higher than the first Friday and is just 10% less than the second Friday. The film is heading for another phenomenal week as it gets the benefit of the Raksha Bandhan period.

There was no competition at the box office this week enabling the film to show a good jump from its Thursday numbers. The new releases were films like ANDAAZ 2 and ZORA which had little chance at the box office. The latter was directed by Rajiv Rai who has earlier made films like TRIDEV, VISHWATMA, MOHRA and GUPT in his filmography as director but those films were in a different era and were also star driven films.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA has collected 93.50 crore nett till date and is likely to cross the 100 crore nett mark today in Hindi. The week will be shortened with the release of WAR 2 on Thursday but still the film can aim to beat its first week business.
