MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA is becoming an unstoppable force at the box office as it collected 6 crore nett on the Independence Day holiday and is set for another big week. It will probably be the lowest week in its run so far but you never know with this film as weekdays can be huge again.

The film picked up 34 crore nett in week one and then 55 crore nett in week two with another 52.50 crore nett coming in week three. The trend of the film is just extraordinary and even two huge releases have not made much of a dent. It went down on Thursday when the biggies released but was straight back up the next day.

The film stands at almost 148 crore nett so far and it would not be a surprise if the film goes on to do 200 crore nett. There is a long way to go but it is definitely possible the way the film is going.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had another strong weekend as it collected almost 18 crore nett in its fourth weekend and this despite a huge release like WAR 2 for competition. The film is showing a drop of around 55% only from the last weekend despite the heavy competition. The film showed a drop on the last day of its third week as the WAR 2 hit cinemas but it recovered well the next day as it was a holiday. Then, it has maintained over the weekend.

The film will be crossing the business of the likes of HOUSEFULL 5, SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and RAID 2 over the next 2-3 days making it the third highest grosser in Hindi this year. This week, the film will not see competition and so, it does have a shot at that 200 crore nett mark as long as the weekdays this week hold up well enough.

The film has scored well in the South also with the Telugu version showing collections of 40 crore nett till date. The collections of the film from all versions has crossed the 200 crore nett mark and stands at around 209 crore nett after its fourth weekend. From here, it should finish at around 250 crore nett. The film will go five times higher than the previous biggest animation film in India which was SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE at 46 crore nett apprx.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had another fantastic week considering the huge competition as it collected 24 crore nett. The drop is 55% which is fantastic considering the competition of WAR 2. The film saw its first major drop on Monday if we take out the day when WAR 2 released as that drop was inevitable. The Monday drop meant the chance of hitting 200 crore nett is pretty much impossible. The film stands at 166 crore nett after 4 weeks.

This week there are no major releases so it should get in another good week and the lifetime business of the film is looking to be in the 175-180 crore nett range which will push it into the BLOCKBUSTER category.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA collected 1.25 crore nett on its fifth Friday which is a similar collection to the Friday before. The trend of the film has been to show huge jumps over the weekend if we take out last week which was a holiday weekend. This should be the trend again this weekend.

The film had crossed the business of the likes of HOUSEFULL 5 and SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR and now has crossed RAID 2 as well. It stands only behind CHHAAVA and SAIYAARA. It could even be that the film ends up with higher numbers than WAR 2 which is a turn up for the books. The film has scored outstanding numbers in Mumbai as the circuit stands on 57 crore nett with solid contribution from Gujarat. The other outperformance is West Bengal which has done superb over the last three weeks though at the start, it was an under performing circuit.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA had another superb weekend as collections were excellent on Saturday and Sunday again and the film collected around 8 crore nett in its fifth weekend. The film now stands at 175 crore nett and in the final count it is going to ahead of WAR 2 as it looks to be heading for a finish in the 185-190 crore nett range.

The film has done extraordinary business since it released on Saturday and Sunday and it was no different this week as Saturday saw huge growth again. On Sunday, the film went a leg higher with a phenomenal 40% jump. The family crowd is coming out in numbers in the weekends. The film still could have a couple of weekends left in it even though there will be a flow of releases now.

The collections of the film in all languages and versions stand at around 229 crore nett. There is a 61 crore nett contribution from Mumbai circuit. Nizam/Andhra is next at almost 45 crore nett driven by Telugu and Delhi/UP is at 40 crore nett. Mysore has collected around 15 crore nett and here the contribution is a little better in Hindi than the local language version.

MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA continues with a strong trend in its fifth week with collections remaining strong in the weekdays. The drop was there on Monday but discounted rates held the film up on Tuesday. It was Ganesh Chaturthi on Wednesday which meant collections again held up again on Wednesday.

The collections will be around 11.75 crore nett in week five which is extraordinary and the second best fifth week collection of the year and it will probably end up as the fifth best week five collection ever. Only six films have gone over 10 crore nett in week five and MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA will be the seventh. The list is all post pandemic with only URI being pre pandemic.

The film now stands at 178 crore nett in Hindi while the all version collections are around 235 crore nett. The film could do around 250 crore nett in all versions. The Hindi contribution of the film is a 75%.
