The animation film MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA went up further on Tuesday as it recorded collections of 5.50 crore nett as the film recorded huge occupancy with aid of the discounted rates. The film has a total of of 21 crore nett plus till date and the first week could be looking at a 26 crore nett plus total.

This 26 crore nett will be coming from a first day of less than 1.50 crore nett which shows the momentum the film has gained and it sure to do very well in the second weekend as well. It is a mythological animation film and its almost impossible to tell where it will go as that religious crowd has taken to the film in a big way. A lot of the crowd will not be the regular film going crowd and there will be many coming to the theatre after years and maybe even some who have never visited a cinema hall before.

Before release, if this film had got to 10 crore nett, it would have been a big result but now it remains to be seen where it goes. Nizam/Andhra continues to do well also as it stands at 7.50 crore nett with most of this coming from the Telugu version. The film has broken out here also after a lowly 30 odd lakh start after which it achieved fantastic numbers on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The all India collections of the film are 29.75 crore nett.
