BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 saw an excellent hold on Monday as it collected almost 11 crore nett taking its total to 65 crore nett plus for four days. The drop is just 20% from Friday and mass centres have shown an even smaller drop with many places being pretty much similar. 

The drop in business is mainly in Mumbai city, Delhi city, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bangalore and the likes as some of these places are down 30% plus and this is because most of the cinemas in these pockets have a ticket price drop. Also comparatively, the performance in these places was not as strong as the likes of Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow or Surat over the weekend.

The story of the film is the A centres of the Hindi belts which are simply phenomenal. Despite the all India collections on Monday being less than SOORYAVANSHI, there are going to be some circuits which are ahead of the Akshay Kumar starrer and shockingly it will be mass circuits.

The Monday ensures that the film will be a superhit and it could even emerge a BLOCKBUSTER film depending how it unfolds after the first week. The first week of the film should be in the 90 crore nett range.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 has scored very well in Overseas as well with collections coming in the $2.2 million range which is double the previous best of Kartik Aaryan which was LUKA CHUPPI at $1.13 million. The film was sold for a 4 cr MG overseas and has notched up a share of around 7 crore over the first weekend itself.

The film scored best in USA/Canada with a solid $800k followed by Gulf which was $675k. The Gulf number is better than GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI though that did not release in some of the markets in Gulf.
