Every time Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol come together for a film, it draws huge interest from the fans and film lovers. The latest film to feature the numero uno jodi of Bollywood will be the sequel to Irrfan’s Hindi Medium. The film is currently in the works and a source close to the project has revealed that producer Dinesh Vijan is in talks with SRK and Kajol. Irrfan, who will also be a part of the sequel, will reprise his role as the new story will be set in the US. Not just that, BT has it that both SRK and Kajol have participated in the initial script reading sessions. It is already known that Saket Chaudhary who directed Hindi Medium (2017) is not part of the project and filmmaker Homi Adajania who has teamed up with Vijan in the past on films like Cocktail (2012) and Finding Fanny (2014), has been roped in to direct the movie.

Even Irrfan and SRK have worked together in Billu (2009) before. They also share a great rapport and it was rumoured that SRK had given Irrfan the keys to his London home, when the actor was based there for treatment of his neuroendocrine tumour.

BT tried to get in touch with Dinesh Vijan, but there was no response till the time we went to press.
