There's no stress-buster like dancing. I love hip hop, freestyle and Bollywood mix. For Any Body Can Dance 2, I trained in ballet as well, which helps me stay fit. Dancing is the fastest way to lose weight. Growing up, I enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball, now, I enjoy a good run.
Huma Qureshi
I love taking off on long adventurous holidays that involve hiking and trekking in cooler climes and swimming during summer breaks. The one skill I am dying to pick up is horse-riding.
Rana Daggubbati
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the best form of alternative training for me. I love it when the workout emphasises on boxing. My goal is to learn a new skill set and not just lose weight. Whether it is for a particular film like Baahubali or for fitness, it's nice to be trained in something unique that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Farhan Akhtar
I've realised that if I don't work out, I become leaner. The key is sleeping well and not partying till late. Cycling is always fun. For Bhaag Milkha Bhaag I'd start training at 6:30 am, which involved sprints and flexibility exercises. Since running has a neuro-muscular component, I was taught drills like knee lift, upper leg motion and pushoffs to break the monotony.
Anil Kapoor
The key to staying fit is to do different things, otherwise exercising can get boring. I visit a fitness studio at a nearby five-star, sometimes go swimming or cycling. When the routine gets monotonous, I jog up and down the stairs and practice yoga.
Parineeti Chopra
I swim whenever I get the time because there is a gorgeous pool right here in my building. When I am not sweating it out in the gym or during Kalaripayattu sessions I like to practice yoga.
Kareena Kapoor
From gymming, pilates and yoga, I have tried all the weight-loss techniques. I recently took up boxing with my bestie, Amrita Arora Ladak. I have been enjoying it so much that my motto is, 'Party hard and train harder.'
