Presenting her the trophy was the ethereal diva Rekha, dressed in her signature Kanjivaram sari. She congratulated Ash with a jhappi and a kiss.

Salman Khan hugged Kajol, bonded with bestie Shah Rukh Khan, but did not interact with Saif Ali Khan. The actor, who arrived only ten minutes before Aishwarya and Amitabh Bachchan, left the venue before Ash went on stage. They were seated in the same row but Prem was sandwiched between Mukesh and Nita Ambani on the far left, while the Bachchan bahu sat poised on the right.
