If industry sources are to be believed, Sohail Khan had recently approached Fawad Khan for one of the lead roles in his upcoming project. However, the Pakistani heartthrob is said to have politely turned down the offer.

A source close to the development says, “Fawad did not take it up as he did not like the script or the role offered to him. He has been approached by several Bollywood filmmakers, but wants to take it slow.” Sohail, however, refrained from sharing details of his apparent meeting with Fawad. “I am busy working on scripts, let’s see. I am clueless about this.”

The actor, who is currently shooting in Coonoor for Karan Johar’s Kapoor & Sons, is also said to have opted out of Anil Kapoor’s Battle For Bittora as it apparently involves certain intimate scenes. He had also refused to kiss Alia Bhatt in Kapoor & Sons. The actor was accompanied by his wife Sadaf when he was shooting in Coonoor for the film.

Says a source close to Fawad, “He is going through some scripts and will meet a few producers when he comes to Mumbai.”
