My boys turn into mini fashion police at home-Sunny Leone

Onkar Kulkarni (BOMBAY TIMES; May 28, 2025)
Facing scrutiny for their fashion choices isn’t new to actors, and for Sunny Leone, the fashion policing begins right at home. The actress shares that her sons, Asher and Noah, are her biggest fashion critics.
“My kids don’t usually say much about what I wear unless I step out in a low-cut gown. Then my boys turn into mini fashion police and say, ‘Mom, I don’t think I like this outfit and why is mom dressed like that?’ What really throws them off, though, is when I go full glam with smokey eyes. They say, ‘Why are you wearing so much makeup, mom?’ It’s adorable because they’re used to seeing me in my mom-mode, not red-carpet-ready. But every time I ask, ‘Do I look pretty?’ they say, ‘Yes, of course!’ I don’t think they’ll ever say no (laughs).” Sunny adds that her daughter Nisha is the most chilled-out one.
Ask her who’s the most stylish among her kids, and she replies, “That’s definitely Noah! He walks out fully coordinated — socks, matching shoes, tops, pants and accessories. He styles his look with jackets and hats, too. He even has this cool new haircut. Honestly, he’s one kid who never needs help getting dressed, he’s got it all figured out.”
I am forever grateful to Anurag Kashyap, who offered me something different-Sunny Leone

Akash Wadhwa (BOMBAY TIMES; December 13, 2022)
Sunny Leone, a known name in the entertainment industry today, is quite happy with her journey so far. Sunny, who has hosted seven seasons of the reality show Splitsvilla with Rannvijay Singha, has hosted her eighth season without him. She says, “Rannvijay is not with me this season and I am always going to miss him. He has become my brother from another mother. We had developed such a good friendship and there was a sense of togetherness between both of our families. And the best part is that though he is not hosting the season with me, he is just a phone call away. We are in touch through calls and messages. In fact, his wife also messages me. We are family friends now.”
Sunny, who has done item numbers, films and web series, finds hosting shows really interesting. “Of course, I love films. But I like hosting, too, although I host only one show a year and love the experience. I really look forward to it as it is a different type of shooting schedule,” she says.
Ask Sunny if her acting potential has been utilized to the fullest in the entertainment industry and she replies, “As of now, I am working on a film with Anurag Kashyap and I am really excited about that. I am sure that once people see this film, some good things should soon follow.”
Sunny says, “More than the film industry tagging me in a certain category, I guess the articles that have been written about me, have tagged me in a certain image in the industry. I am not tagging myself. It is a vicious circle. I can’t really do much about tagging, but yes, I can stay true to who I am, work really hard and also believe that somebody will see my hard work. I am forever grateful to Anurag Kashyap, who saw that in me and offered me something different.”
She adds, “Even on the last day of the shoot with him, I couldn’t control my emotions as I am really thankful to him for giving me a chance. I am happy with my life and where I am and if people put a tag on me, I really can’t do much about it nor am I upset about it.”
Sunny has also been quite active in the industry down South. Talking about it, she says, “The experience is amazing and the best part is that each role has been different from the other. A lot of my projects got delayed because of the pandemic, but I am happy that finally, the films that I’d done down South are releasing.”
Sunny, who is a proud mother of three children, Nisha, Asher, and Noah, is enjoying motherhood. “My kids are wonderful and really are a gift from God. They are so funny and so smart and I love spending as much time as I can with them. All of them have different interests and both my husband and I enjoy keeping our kids busy,” she concludes.
We don’t look at social media in my house-Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone is trying to infuse a sense of normalcy in her kids’ lives with a no- social-media rule
Sugandha Rawal (HINDUSTAN TIMES; September 25, 2022)
Actor Sunny Leone understands the constant scrutiny on her three kids as she leads a public life, but she is trying hard to infuse a sense of normalcy as they grow up. The no-social-media rule at her house is for the same reason.
“My children (Nisha, Asher and Noah) are too young to understand the scrutiny on our lives, and they don’t need to. We still have time to make them understand about life, people, their own bodies and the ever-changing things that are happening,” says Leone, who along with love, also faces trolling on social media.
The 41-year-old, who is married to Daniel Weber, continues, “My kids are between the ages of four and six. Our worries and what’s going on in the rest of the world is none of their concern at the moment. They need to be children right now.”
Here, the Anamika actor asserts that the only thing on her mind is capturing moments of them growing up: “The only thing they need to worry about is that we spend time together and how we spend time together. We don’t look at social media in my house, and I don’t plan to show them for as long as I can. They don’t need to enter that world just yet.”
But how does one handle the negativity on social media, especially when family gets involved? “Everybody who is in showbiz and on social media, we are all being judged for something or the other. It’s all about understanding the science behind that negativity, which I often break down to: those people don’t know me,” she replies, adding, “I don’t know them, and they are not just talking bad about me. They are talking about everybody. It’s like a bad circle of negativity around them... So, I don’t take it personally and I move on with my day. I think maybe such people need a little bit of help for talking so negatively.”
On the subject of balancing time with family and work, she tells us that she and her husband talk about it with their kids. “We talk to our children all the time about how important it is that mummy and daddy go to work. And when we promise them that they have a certain time with us, we keep our promises,” she concludes.
There is something magical about being in India & this industry, says Sunny Leone as she completes 10 years in the country

Rachana Dubey (BOMBAY TIMES; April 19, 2022)
A decade ago, she was introduced into the Bigg Boss house to add more glam and spike up the ratings. After that, the doors to Bollywood opened up for Sunny Leone and she quickly embraced the opportunities that came her way. In a chat with Bombay Times, she talks about the fast-growing entertainment space in India, how she fits into it all and how the next few years seem packed with the kind of work she always desired to do. Excerpts:
You’re completing a decade of living in India and being a part of the entertainment industry here. What do you think has worked for you and made you turn India into your home?
It has been so amazing. My husband Daniel (Weber) and I could erase some of the bad memories, but it has been a fulfilling decade which we have spent here. It’s been a dream — we’ve gotten into production, films, shows, television and entrepreneurship in different spaces. I love being here and I am very happy about it. A long time ago, Daniel and I were staying at a five-star hotel, our makeshift home. I was shooting for Jism 2 at that time and I met a woman who had told me that once you are here, India will get a hold of you and you will never want to move to another country. She was right! Like it happens to so many people who come here, it happened to me, too.
There is something magical about being in India and being in this industry. This country holds you back in a good way. I remember what that lady said as I complete each year here. I never want to leave and be anywhere else. This is my home. At work, I have tapped into so many different outlets of entertainment. India is one of the fastest emerging countries as far as creating content goes — we’re doing so much of it every single day. It’s unbelievable. If you are a professional and sincere, you will be very busy. If you just focus on work and go back home, and not steal someone else’s hard work, you’ll be home and at peace.
Your web show, Anamika on MX Player, drove home the point that there’s more to you than a glamourous image and fine dancing skills. What took you so long to pick an author-backed part like that?
I can only choose from what’s on the table. Certain projects that came to me, which sounded interesting, did not complete the circle to move forward. We were happy to even get a meeting with Vikram Bhatt. He was kind and generous. And I was floored because it doesn’t happen very often that someone sees me in a completely different light. I have worked with some amazing people in my career, but this was different. It was an immediate yes and I didn’t need more information than he already had. He makes you want to trust him; he is honest and hardworking. The story was compelling, it was outside my comfort zone and I hadn’t had the chance to try that before. Vikram nurtured me in every way possible and he always had so much to share, there is a reason people liked the show. The best part is that he saw me differently; he saw past the glamour and showed me in a unique way. We like actors and want to emulate them because they are glamorous and I don’t want to take away from that, but Vikram saw something. I am honoured that he did.
Your superhero film, Shero, is one of the four films you’ve worked on down South. We’ve seen a growing trend of Bollywood actors doing multilingual films. What attracts you to work across film industries?
I will have to go back to what I said about picking from what I’m offered. Shero is another space that people have not imagined me in. It’s a psychological thriller with action and crazy stuff thrown in. I have one film which allows me to play a glamorous part, and two others, one of which has some really big names in it. I’ve just finished shooting for one at Tirupati.
Did you plan for your career to move this way? Did you ever set a game plan for yourself?
I don’t think you can plan all this. I find it interesting when people say that they are waiting for the right project to come their way. How do we ever know what a right project is going to look like? I am language and industry agnostic. I am okay with work in any language as long as it’s good work. We are in a time where content is dubbed in languages that are common for various regions. People are past the idea of the language barrier because everyone wants good content and that is the name of the game. I have prided myself in the fact that Daniel and I are working parents, like a lot of other couples around us. It’s equally important to work and take care of our children. Who doesn’t like to work? I like to work. I want that job more than anyone else and for that, I am willing to go an extra mile and learn the language and prepare my scenes in advance. I just got back from Tirupati where we were shooting. I refused to shoot my portions in Hindi, though it was offered to me. It is important to learn the languages, and even though it takes time, when you go on set, you’re prepared and equipped. I’m an artiste who wants the work — I don’t believe that I need it and I don’t think I deserve it. I want it and I will work hard for it. I’ve learned every single thing I know by working with so many wonderful people. I came here with no formal training in what I am doing today. Not everything I did looked nice. Some of it looked horrible, too. You’re sitting in a room and wondering what you are doing, which is not looking great. It’s a matter of time and with the right guidance and meeting the right people, you grow out of that. We’re well past that point where you have to work with an A-list actor or director. COVID taught us to be humble. It is about finding the people who believe in you and have the patience to nurture you and guide when you falter.
Apart from acting, you have been pursuing different kinds of entrepreneurial interests along with your husband. What pushes you to take on so many ventures?
Daniel and I do 20 things at once. It is not just a movie or a show that I count on to make my life meaningful. I love it all, but that is not it. If something didn’t go well, it’s not in my hands to change that. Like I can’t say, ‘Okay, let’s pull it out, correct it and put it back there...’ for a show or a movie. It doesn’t work like that. You have to be a realist and understand what you are good at. My husband and I are good at multitasking and have our hands in as many avenues of entertainment and lifestyle as we can. Instead of focusing on only one thing. The next five years are going to be about work. We are looking forward to greenlighting more projects from what’s on the table and entrepreneurially, I want to grow. Something that I do today will always pay better tomorrow. I will continue to live with that thought.

Actor Sunny Leone blasts trolls who claim she treats her daughter Nisha differently
Rishabh Suri (HINDUSTAN TIMES; March 20, 2022)
Sunny Leone is very protective of her three children, Nisha, Asher and Noah, just like any other mother. While the actor is fine with the attention they get as celebrity children, she is not pleased when her parenting is called into question.
People recently remarked on a photo of Leone and her husband, Daniel Weber, not holding their daughter’s hand, and trolls asked whether it was because she was adopted.
Leone says, “I don’t read [comments]. Daniel, on the other hand, reads everything because he is aware of every aspect of our lives, personal and professional. It hurt his feelings. I had to tell him over and over again… I was hurt too, but we couldn’t both be sad [at the same time]. I had to tell him, ‘You know what? These people don’t know you, or us, what we do for our kids’.”
The 40-year-old, who was recently seen in the web series Anamika, continues, “They (trolls) are not cooking our food, cleaning after them (kids), playing with them, taking them to school... So, just one photo cannot dictate who we are as parents.”
Leone even offered an example of a Hollywood star who was also subjected to trolling regarding her parenting skills when talking to her husband, since he was extremely upset. “Daniel is quite sensitive about our children, particularly Nisha,” explains the actor, adding, “She is daddy’s little girl. Nobody can come near her or say anything bad about her without him becoming very upset and protective.”

The actress talks about how she plans her day around her kids in this current phase, and how she is waiting for a time when we are not all constantly living with fear and anxiety
Rachana Dubey (BOMBAY TIMES; May 19, 2021)
After a long stay at her LA home, Sunny Leone returned to India six months ago and got back to work. However, soon the second wave of Coronavirus struck and work came to a standstill. Sunny has several assignments in the pipeline, including the Malayalam film Shero, which has her playing a key character. The actress feels that she now has ample time to prepare for the film while spending time at home with her children, Nisha, Noah and Asher.
Talking about working from home, she says, “I am not the only artiste doing that. Everyone is using this phase to learn their scripts, work on their characters and prepare for their roles. This time is being put to good use before we can get back to work, full steam.”
Like many moms who are juggling their work and keeping their children busy at home, Sunny, too, works her schedule around her children.
“There are so many occasions when I am working on a script over a video call and my daughter is solving a puzzle in the same room with her teacher’s assistance. I want my children around me. I schedule my work as per their timings to ensure that I give them attention before I deep dive into work and my workout routine,” she says.
Sunny adds, “Right now, we know how much time we need to allot for which activity in the day. It’s pretty much chalked out. This is the most focused time to work on a film before it goes on the floors. There is nothing that takes away attention… no events, no other commitments — it’s just your work and your family. It works to my benefit. I already have a tutor to teach me Malayalam. It will take a few months for the film to take off, and my character does not require me to learn the language extensively. My team has been extremely proactive in picking out online workshops for me in this regard. In a normal scenario, things would have worked out differently.”
In recent months, shortly before the lockdown, Sunny had travelled down South for a shoot, for which she was accompanied by her kids. Was she apprehensive about taking them on the set? “Sometimes, my children spend time in the vanity van, but I don’t take them on the set. We prepare a chart for them that lists what they have to complete in the day. This time around, when my kids travelled with me, we all stayed within our bio-bubble. There was no one going in and out of it. We were also tested periodically. We shot without any cases of COVID-19. The thing is, we’ve been leading such restricted lives for about a year that even a little breather within a bio-bubble, was a good change for the kids.”
While Sunny says she is extremely cautious and takes all measures to keep her family safe, she hopes that there will be a time when the anxiety level will decrease. “Today, I definitely think we should adopt a way to be clean and hygienic for good. But we have to work towards a tomorrow where it’s okay to fall, touch the ground, sit on the grass and live without constant fear and anxiety over who is around me and who has been here before me. Constantly being in protective mode as parents has increased our stress levels. We’re constantly thinking of where the kids are, what are they touching, are they wearing masks… I look forward to the time when we can get back to being around people and don’t have to isolate ourselves from our neighbours.”

Actor Sunny Leone talks of spending time with family and how motherhood brings new experiences every day
Rishabh Suri (HINDUSTAN TIMES; May 9, 2021)
Being a busy celebrity and a hands-on mother to three children is certainly not a child’s play, pun intended. Actor Sunny Leone has so far been able to juggle all, and add to that the current Coronavirus pandemic times.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day today, we ask the 39-year-old about how she is dealing with the crisis. The actor reveals that she consciously chose to tell her three kids – Nisha (5), Asher and Noah (twins, 3) about what is unfolding. “We have explained what the virus is to our children – that we can get very sick and nobody in our house is supposed to get this virus. We have known a few people who have caught the virus and do you remember how sick they’ve got and they had to stay in and how scary it was. I feel it’s better and easier to tell the truth to our children that shielding them from the reality. We have been fortunate enough so far,” Leone says.
Until shoots were stopped, the actor had been venturing out and working. She has a web show and film lined up next, apart from a reality show which she shot for in Kerala. She continues to be there as of now. Being a mother, Leone confesses, is all about a new experience every day, despite work keeping her occupied. “Every single day is different. If I’m there in the morning, yes I’ll have to work in the evenings and day time. I come back home early for them, and take certain days off during the week so we definitely get quality time together,” she shares.
While the day is certainly marked to celebrate all the mothers, Leone says her children are too young for her to celebrate it like a holiday. Looking after them even more carefully in the pandemic takes precedence. “This feeling of ‘oh I should get something, feel something different on the day’ will come later on. As of now, the day doesn’t mean I get a day off. My children are still very young and need attending to. I remember growing up, my mother would have a day off and nice things would happen. They happen with me too. But my children still need to be fed, taken care of... That responsibility is still there. Maybe later as they grow older, I can get them to start pampering me! But right now, it’s mommy pampering them,” the actor laughs.

Rachana Dubey (BOMBAY TIMES; April 20, 2021)
It was recently reported that Sunny Leone has bought a new house on the 12the floor of a building in Andheri. The house is apparently over 4,000 sq ft in size and the actress, along with her husband Daniel Weber and their kids, Nisha, Asher and Noah, will move in soon. Sunny, who is currently prepping for her movie down South and another project with Vikram Bhatt, confirmed the development to Bombay Times.
She says, “We had bought this house before the Coronavirus pandemic hit us. Daniel and I had decided that it was time to buy a place that has more space for our kids. The pandemic just pushed everything around and it took longer to get it done. The building and the house are both ready now. We’re just waiting for the right time to move into our new home.”
Talking about the interiors of their new residence, Sunny says, “We found a really nice interior designer, who has done up the place to our liking. We wanted open spaces in the house and room for the children to move around more freely. Our priority while looking for a new house was to essentially find a building that offers enough privacy and security. Also, there are ample amenities within the building complex that will keep the kids engaged.”
Sunny says, “We look forward to moving into our new house and giving our children the space to run around, ride their bikes and feel some sense of normalcy.”
A year ago, Sunny had spoken to BT about life in the lockdown, post which she also took off to the USA to spend time with Daniel’s family. The actress returned to Mumbai late last year and, since then, has been working on different projects and is currently prepping for two. Speaking about how she continues to be stern about health and safety protocols, Sunny shares, “Obviously, my kids’ safety is my priority. I am crazy about testing and sanitising, and keeping the space clean. My staff is here 24 hours, and we don’t allow people from outside into our little circle. My kids don’t meet strangers. But despite all of this, we try to maintain some normalcy. As parents, we’re raising children who are not socialising with other kids. The younger ones will probably come around sooner, but the impact will be visible on all the children when we get to the other side.”
She further adds, “Like every other parent, who has had to step out for work, I have followed protocols and made sure others around me do so, too. The good part is that people completely understand why I am doing it. No one feels offended when asked to mask up. Today, I just think that it will be a win-win situation if all of us can mask up and follow protocols without anyone reminding us about them.”

The actress, who has temporarily moved to her home in LA, says that while her kids are enjoying the beaches and parks there, they are also missing their home in Mumbai
Rachana Dubey (BOMBAY TIMES; July 16, 2020)
For over two months now, Sunny Leone has been living in her Los Angeles home with her family — husband Daniel Weber and children, Nisha, Asher and Noah. The family has been making the most of their stay there and is visiting the beaches and parks in the vicinity of their home. Sunny says, “It’s nice for the kids to get to run around. We spend 90 per cent of our day outside. Of course, we have been cautious and are following social distancing norms. But here, you can go to the parks, garden, farms and even the beach. The kids are getting some outdoor experiences. These days, they are learning to ride little bikes and scooters. Also, they get to meet their cousins and have the whole family around them.”
Talking about moving back to Mumbai, she says, “It is difficult to not be able to get back as and when we want. Also, the Coronavirus pandemic here is not any better than other places in the world. Every family out there has the same struggle as us — what are you going to do with your day or with your children when they are indoors with you?” However, the actress has something to look forward to on the work front. She shares, “I have a few projects in the pipeline now. I am glad that soon, I will be able to work here, in the US.”
When the family was living in Mumbai, they would stay in touch with the staff managing her house in LA. Now that Sunny is there, she is in touch with her staff in Mumbai. “They’re doing well and have been keeping themselves safe. The kids and I miss them and our house there. We talk about it every day. I keep reminding my kids that they will be going back to the people in Mumbai, who they are missing so much.”

Sunny Leone took to social media to reveal that she has travelled back to her home in the US with husband Daniel Weber and kids, Nisha, Noah and Asher. The actress, who posted a picture on Instagram with her three kids from the garden of her house in Los Angeles, also explained why she decided to travel amid the coronavirus pandemic. “In life when you have children your own priorities and well-being takes the back seat. Both @dirrty99 and I had the opportunity to take our children where we felt they would be safer against this invisible killer 'Coronavirus' Our home away from home and secret garden in Los Angeles. I know this is what my mother would have wanted me to do. Miss you mom. Happy Mother’s Day! (sic),” she wrote. In an earlier interview with BT, talking about her home in LA, she had shared, “We had listed it with a rental company because we’re usually travelling and are in India for work. Someone who stayed in before the lockdown is enjoying the beautiful house.” We guess Sunny, who will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow, will be spending the rest of the lockdown in the dream home that she built with her hubby.
Lockdown makes Sunny Leone return to her roots

Rachana Dubey (BOMBAY TIMES; April 16, 2020)
For Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber, the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown has been all about returning to their roots. With most of their staff off duty, the couple has been doing all the household chores by themselves — cooking, cleaning, dusting, the works. They have also been managing their kids — twin sons Asher and Noah, and daughter Nisha — mostly on their own.
She shares, “Daniel and I were brought up in countries where we didn’t have house staff. We had to do everything ourselves and now, we’ve comfortably rolled back to that style of living.” She adds, “At one point, we did think of moving to a temporary pad in Goa, where the kids would get to go on the beach everyday and enjoy some fresh air, but we stayed put in our Mumbai apartment because our safety net’s here — any help is easily available.”
Talking about her daily routine, the actress says, “Daniel and I have divided household chores. While he makes breakfast, I cook lunch and dinner. We cook everything from Indian to Mediterranean food — cupcakes, parathas, rotis, mac ‘n’ cheese... the variety makes the kids happy. One of us sits with Nisha when she has online classes. And, when the babies nap, we do our workouts — we go up and down the building stairs and follow videos for high-intensity workouts.”
Sunny says that one of the biggest lessons the lockdown has taught her is the importance of a teacher in a child’s life. “I am grateful to teachers and today, I have an added amount of respect for them. Teachers do a very special job and I think they are all underpaid for it. We cannot do what the teachers do for our kids,” she signs off.

“I am going bananas. I am very bored. It’s not fun being locked up inside the house!” says actor Sunny Leone over the phone, currently in self-isolation inside her Mumbai house due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Keeping her company are her three munchkins — sons Noah and Asher, and daughter Nisha — along with husband Daniel Weber. To keep herself busy, she has been reading and painting. “I will share my artwork online soon. I am working on a big art project,” she shares. One can hear her children having fun, playing and screaming in the background. “Fortunately, they keep me busy. Home schooling is such a job. I never aspired to be a teacher, and now I am teaching them all the things they need to learn in school!” says the 38-year-old.
Leone had shared a picture of her family on Instagram this week, including the kids, wearing face masks, with a caption saying, “A new era! So sad that my kids have to now live like this, but it’s necessary.” The actor feels we must voice our concern and make a difference. “It’s okay for children to wear masks, it’s perfectly all right for parents to worry about their health, and take all precautions to make sure they are safe. I can’t keep my kids locked up inside all the time, but I can take them on a walk outside without coming in contact with people or strangers, or touching things. They are in their strollers, so they can get fresh air,” she says.
Talking about the effects of the pandemic on the social habits of people, apart from their well-being, she says it’s a bizarre situation for kids. “It’s a stressful time in our lives. It’s sad that our children have to go through this. They can’t play outside, go to school, meet others. We are desocialising ourselves, but it’s a safety measure,” says the actor.

As she launches lingerie brand, Sunny Leone on juggling films and multiple ventures with ease
Sonil Dedhia (MID-DAY; July 10, 2019)
Her fairly successful film career aside, Sunny Leone seems to be meticulously building her brand, one business venture at a time. Already the brain behind a cosmetics line and a perfume brand, the actor launched her lingerie brand, Infamous, earlier this week. “It was a market we hadn’t tapped into and we thought this was the right time to dive into it. Many people had approached us earlier [to partner for similar business]. But when Daniel [Weber, husband] and I met the Bradford India group, we felt they were the right people to tie up with,” she says, when probed about her latest business idea.
Juggling multiple ventures with film assignments can’t be easy. However, Leone insists that she is a hands-on businesswoman. “If I have to take time out in the middle of the night, then so be it. I can’t leave it in somebody else’s hands; if I do, I believe it [the result] will not be to my liking. Daniel and I work as a team, but since most of our products cater to women, I have to take a lot of decisions,” she says, before quipping, “The only time I feel overwhelmed is when my three children [Nisha, Noah and Asher] are crying. Even then, we try to find a solution.”
Three years since she launched her cosmetics and fragrance line, the actor says that the ventures have been a success among her fans. encouraged by the positive response, she says, “The plan is to expand my brand. You can expect some more announcements in the coming months.”

“Both last year and this, I’m working on Mother’s Day. When you work in the field of entertainment, the best thing is just being able to be together. The whole family is here with me in Jaipur. I’m a simple person and I don’t need anything extra. I’m just happy to be spending time with them.”
Motherhood tales
“Being a mother has made me feel much more than I ever expected to. This morning, we were all out in the pool area of the villa where I am shooting. There was music and dancing. One of my boys was with me while another was in the pool. The way they would look at me, it’s enough to make any mother feel overwhelmed with love. They are so beautiful.”
Diverse personalities
“They have such different personalities. Noah has been walking for some time and he’s always on the move. He’s also expressive verbally, about what he wants or where he wants to be taken. Asher is a little bit more chilled out. He has just started walking and is still figuring things out. He’s just a doll. As for Nisha, I did a lot of research on how to handle a toddler around newborns and she’s been absolutely amazing. She’s so loving and caring.”
Three to tango
“The boys get so much attention because they are little babies. With Nisha, we spent a lot of time to ensure she always felt special. She has her own activities, but we also make her spend time with the boys. They go to the park together, have walks and the twins go to the playschool to pick her up. The first time they did that, she displayed the sense that these are ‘my brothers’ and this is ‘my family’. She was showing them off, and it was so sweet. She helps to change their diapers, gives them a bath, reads to them and plays with them.”
A different world now
“Many moms ask me how do I handle all of this. It’s because I want to. I want to work, yes, but I also want to be able to cook breakfast for them. Today, I took over one side of the egg station in the restaurant kitchen because I wanted to make them banana wheat pancakes. Yesterday, I was in the kitchen with a well-known chef and I said, ‘I need to make the boys some food’. That was right before I went into hair and make-up! So, I just want to be here for them.”
