A night of nostalgia unfolded at the Regal Theatre in Mumbai as actor Zeenat Aman graced the special screening of her classic film Don (1978). The event brought together fans, young and old, who eagerly sought her autographs.

In an engaging conversation with filmmaker Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, the 71-year-old reminisced about her early days in showbiz, starting with her first shot for O P Ralhan’s Hulchul in 1971: “I walked onto the sets, and it was so grey, drab. I looked at OP and said, ‘Sir, where is the glamour?’ He said, ‘Babusha, you are supposed to be the glamour!’”

The evening couldn’t pass without a question about the much-anticipated Don 3. Aman, who played the iconic character Roma in the original, stated, “Roma is a legend. Junglee billi!”

The actor also took a moment to pay tribute to actor-director Dev Anand, whose 100th birth anniversary was celebrated recently. “He was my mentor. If it wasn’t for Dev sahab, I wouldn’t have had such a meteoric rise in the business,” she shared.
