TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR hold on pretty well with collections of 3.25 crore nett on its second Friday which takes the film to 82 crore nett. The drop is around 20% from Thursday which is decent though it could have done with collections nearer to the Thursday considering ticket rates going up on the weekend.

There were so many releases that it affected the showcasing of the film even though none of these films were much of a force. The film continues to driven by the NCR area with the help of a couple of other metros. The NCR area is sure to beat films like GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI and SOORYAVANSHI though it wont beat the latter in Delhi/UP now as business in the state of UP is low.

It can be said that the collections are pretty decent for the box office scenario today but in reality the scenario is pretty good and its just the films are not good or lets say dated for post pandemic. The reality is that TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR was among the bigger 6-7 original Hindi films of the year and there is little chance the film can reach 125 crore nett which it should have done eyes closed.
