The new release GOODBYE collected a poor 90 lakhs nett on day one. The film had discounted rates on day one but it did not really work for the film as collected are less than DHOKHA ROUND D CORNER on day one when it should really have been more.
DHOKHA ROUND D CORNER got the benefit of cinema day and tickets rate worth Rs. 75 while the Rs. 150 has not really worked here as GOODBYE should be collecting more than the R Madhavan starrer in any situation. There should be some growth over the weekend but you cant go anywhere from this sort of start.
VIKRAM VEDHA collected 2.50-2.75 crore nett apprx on day eight which is a drop of 20-25% apprx from Thursday and it really had to be same as Friday if it is to reach the 100 crore nett mark. The film continues to be dull in mass centres and the film was actually replaced by a film GODFATHER (Hindi) in many single screens across mass circuits and GODFATHER itself is a rejected film.
VIKRAM VEDHA should put up fair numbers on Saturday and Saturday and could do around 90 crore nett for lifetime business which is a poor result. The plus is West Bengal due to Puja and Nizam/Andhra has also done fair business.
The collections of VIKRAM VEDHA till date are as follows
Friday - 10,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 7,25,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 3,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 59,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 62,00,00,000
