Peek into the lives of Sharma sisters

Trailing the celebrity life has usually made for popular content. A prime example is Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which not only kept viewers hooked for 20 seasons, but also made the Kardashian family famous for being famous. Closer home, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives (2020) tasted success with the format. Now, we hear a similar concept is being explored around the lives of actors Neha and Aisha Sharma.

Rana Daggubati, who launched his YouTube channel South Bay in March 2021, has envisioned a non-scripted reality series titled Shining with the Sharmas. The reality show joins South Bay’s roster that previously had the animated chat show, Why Are You, and Lakshmi Manchu’s talk show, among others.

“The series is on the lines of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It is shot entirely in their Bandra home [and will follow them] as they go about their day — from their gym workouts, to their projects and their downtime together. The peppy show [will highlight] the fragilities of the glam world. It aims to depict how the Sharma sisters navigate the strains of the industry,” says a source.

The series has been in the making for the past year, and is currently in post-production. If all goes as planned, the show will drop on the channel in June.
