S Sreesanth is back in action and we aren’t talking only about cricket. He is also making his comeback on the big screen soon, with a film that marks his debut in Tamil. The film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will see him star alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “I am happy that I get to make my Tamil debut with such a good film and team. This a pivotal role and my character plays a catalyst in the narrative,” shares Sreesanth, adding that the film is an old commitment before his cricket ban was lifted. The actor is also gearing up to sign more films.

Sreesanth says, “I have another interesting Tamil film in the pipeline and a Hindi film where I will be starring alongside Sunny Leone.”

He’s upbeat about his cricketing career as well. “I was the highest wicket taker for Kerala in the previous season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. I opted out of this season due to personal commitments and my film shoots. I did play some league matches while balancing my shoots. I am looking forward to the upcoming Ranji Trophy season and I’m upbeat about being part of the IPL, especially with two new teams on the horizon,” he says.
