As Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan becomes the first film to restart shoot in Mumbai, we introduce you to four fresh faces who will play Kumar’s sisters in the film — Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth, Sadia Khateeb and Sahejmeen Kaur.

Anand L Rai, the film’s director says, “Rakshabandhan isn’t a project, it’s an emotion, and I wanted fresh faces for a reason, so that these emotions should come without any baggage. They should look like neater characters, with nothing to identify with in the past, but can make you feel emotions. And it’s always an exercise and exciting process for a director to discover actors. I knew I’m doing something which Akshay sir will enjoy and these fresh faces will look good, too.”

Rakshabandhan, also starring Bhumi Pednekar, is presented and distributed by Zee Studios in association with Alka Hiranandani and Aanand L Rai. The film is a Colour Yellow Production in association with Cape of Good Films. It is directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.
