Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda Singh were seen shooting for Bob Biswas at a south Kolkata location on Tuesday. The film, directed by debutante Diya Annapurna Ghosh and written by Sujoy Ghosh, is a spin-off based on the character, Bob Biswas, in the Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani (2012). While the first schedule of the crime thriller was completed before the lockdown, Abhishek flew to Kolkata on Tuesday to resume work on this project.

According to sources, the unit will shoot at various locations in the city before they wrap up by December 7. Before flying to Kolkata, Abhishek took to Instagram to share a picture that had him wearing a face shield and mask on the flight to the City of Joy. He wrote, “#BackToBeingBob Stay safe everyone. Travel safe. #maskon keep your mask on (sic).”
