Sonu Nigam has been in Dubai ever since the Coronavirus lockdown was announced. And, the singer-composer says that he does not plan to return to Mumbai anytime soon, even as the government is facilitating the return of Indians stranded abroad.

Sonu tells us, “If I come to India now, I will be quarantined for 14 days. So, given the fact that I am busy with a lot of charity work here, it does not make sense to come back and get quarantined.”

The singer adds, “We are in the process of moving into a new house in Dubai. This city has been my second home for quite some time now. I even have my studio here and my family, too, has shifted base. In fact, my son Nevaan is studying here. So, I will keep shuttling between Mumbai and Dubai.”
