Along with her acting prowess, Kareena Kapoor Khan is also known for her impeccable style and sense of fashion. Be it her reel avatars or her real-life appearances, the actress, like most of her peers, faces the pressure of always turning up looking her best. While she is on point on most occasions, being under the fashion scanner does get to her at times.

In a conversation with BT, she had said, “I can’t be dressed in couture all the time. And, I do have days when my hair is out of place. The thing is, I want to be as real as possible and be dressed in what makes me comfortable. I can’t sit dressed up all day. It gets to me that people are looking at what I’m wearing all the time and scrutinising it. There are times when I just want to chill in a simple set of clothes and feel like myself, keep my hair tied or loose and just let things be.”

No wonder then, Kareena is offering fans a glimpse of her ‘real’ self on social media. She often posts her pictures with minimal or no make-up. In fact, the actress recently posted a picture on Instagram sans make-up and a zit on her face. And, she looked completely comfortable with it.

The close-up picture, which had her marvelling at some creative activity being pursued by husband Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur, was captioned, “Meanwhile...I just sat there staring in wonder of what was being created. PS: The zit on my face didn’t get the memo of no personal visits and social distancing... #HugeMess (sic).”

Well, Kareena may be homebound due to the Coronavirus lockdown, but it looks like she is enjoying immense freedom — to be herself — on social media.
