GOOD NEWWZ had a pretty good third week of 14.25 crore nett apprx though it was lower than HOUSEFULL 4 and MISSION MANGAL, the other Akshay Kumar big HITS of 2019. It takes the film to 190 crore nett in three weeks and is looking at an end in the 195-200 crore nett range.

It will overtake MISSION MANGAL over the next few days then it will be about whether it finishes the fifth or sixth highest NETT grosser of 2019 with BHARAT occupying 5th spot at 197 crore nett apprx. In Overseas,  it is heading to be third best of 2019 after WAR and BHARAT. The fourth week has no major releases and CHHAPAAK is pretty much out of the equation so it could see a better hold in the fourth week.

GOOD NEWWZ has slowed in the fourth weekend as it adds 2 crore nett on Friday and Saturday and is probably heading for a weekend of 3.25-3.50 crore nett. The total collections so far are a little under 192 crore nett and it will cross the business of MISSION MANGAL today.

The film will be the sixth highest NETT grosser of 2019 after the weekend behind WAR, KABIR SINGH, URI, HOUSEFULL 4 and BHARAT and it looks the target for the film will be to finish fifth and cross BHARAT. But that may not be easy as there are two releases next week and it will remain in mainly the high end multiplexes of metros and East Punjab circuit. It is the top grosser of 2020 in East Punjab beating KABIR SINGH and WAR.
