GOOD NEWWZ had a pretty good third week of 14.25 crore nett apprx though it was lower than HOUSEFULL 4 and MISSION MANGAL, the other Akshay Kumar big HITS of 2019. It takes the film to 190 crore nett in three weeks and is looking at an end in the 195-200 crore nett range.

It will overtake MISSION MANGAL over the next few days then it will be about whether it finishes the fifth or sixth highest NETT grosser of 2019 with BHARAT occupying 5th spot at 197 crore nett apprx. In Overseas,  it is heading to be third best of 2019 after WAR and BHARAT. The fourth week has no major releases and CHHAPAAK is pretty much out of the equation so it could see a better hold in the fourth week.

GOOD NEWWZ has slowed in the fourth weekend as it adds 2 crore nett on Friday and Saturday and is probably heading for a weekend of 3.25-3.50 crore nett. The total collections so far are a little under 192 crore nett and it will cross the business of MISSION MANGAL today.

The film will be the sixth highest NETT grosser of 2019 after the weekend behind WAR, KABIR SINGH, URI, HOUSEFULL 4 and BHARAT and it looks the target for the film will be to finish fifth and cross BHARAT. But that may not be easy as there are two releases next week and it will remain in mainly the high end multiplexes of metros and East Punjab circuit. It is the top grosser of 2020 in East Punjab beating KABIR SINGH and WAR.

GOOD NEWWZ showed an upturn of 20% on Tuesday to collect 1.50 crore nett. This gives the film a total of 187 crore nett and it should cross the numbers of MISSION MANGAL over the weekend. The third week collections of the film should be 13.5-14 crore nett which is pretty good.

GOOD NEWWZ is on the verge becoming this highest Akshay Kumar grosser worldwide as it stands at 289 crore (India 219 cr, Overseas 70 cr)  and should soon beat the numbers of HOUSEFULL 4 of 295 crore (India 247 cr, overseas 48 cr). It should beat the HOUSEFULL 4 worldwide numbers in the fourth week and should also become the first Akshay Kumar film to do 300 crore worldwide though it will be a close run.

GOOD NEWWZ is slowing now as it collected 1.25 crore nett on Monday to stand at almost 186 crore nett. TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR being accepted by the audience means the collections of all films are affected a little.

GOOD NEWWZ has the bulk of its collections from Delhi and Punjab. So it should get the benefit of Lohri today and the third week should be able to go to 14-15 crore nett which is pretty good. It won't be able to reach the HOUSEFULL 4 number to become the highest Akshay Kumar grosser. Also, the highest comedy grosser is out of reach now but it will the highest Akshay Kumar grosser in overseas and worldwide and also the biggest comedy film in overseas and worldwide.

GOOD NEWWZ saw a drop on collections on the third weekend due to the releases as it collected 8.75 crore nett. Its still a reasonable collection but the collections were flat on Sunday as core Hindi circuits run out of steam.

There will be benefit of minor holidays over the next few days which should help the week to a pretty good number. The minimal Sunday growth means its unlikely that the film will reach the numbers of HOUSEFULL 4 and the 200 crore nett will depend on where the film stands on the fourth Friday. The film has collected 184.25 crore nett in 17 days till date.

The film will be the highest grosser of 2019 in East Punjab by the end of the week as it beats the numbers of KABIR SINGH. Delhi city and Noida have also recorded the highest numbers of 2019.

GOOD NEWWZ saw a drop in collections on the third Friday as there were two new releases which hit screen space. The film still continues to do well in North India and in some centres of East Punjab it was more than the new release CHHAPAAK. The film collected around 2 crore nett on its third Friday.

There will be huge growth on Saturday for the film and it still should be another good week for the film. It should surpass the numbers of MISSION MANGAL though it may not reach the numbers of HOUSEFULL 4. But it will do better Worldwide as the Overseas numbers are the best ever for an Akshay Kumar film and look to be heading for a $10 million finish. The film has collected 178 crore nett till date in India.
