GOOD NEWWZ had an excellent Wednesday with collections of over 20 crore nett as it collected 22.50 crore nett which has taken the six day figure to almost 116 crore nett The weekend of the film was 65 crore nett and it has added a huge 51 crore nett in the last three days due to the holiday period.

The collections on Wednesday were similar to Saturday in the metros but outside the metros the numbers were better which meant a better overall total. The film should now emerge a SUPER HIT though it will be the Friday number which will confirm this. There will be a drop on Thursday also as its the day after the big holiday but a 125 crore nett week should be there for the film and maybe even more.

GOOD NEWWZ has had an excellent first week with collections of 126 crore nett in the first week. The film had a very good numbers over the weekend but the weekdays have held very well and with the benefit of the holiday period it has come out with a very good first week. The film collected 65 crore nett over the weekend and a huge 61 crore nett over the weekdays.

The test was the business on Thursday but it cam e through that with a very strong number in double digits. the drop from Monday to Thursday is just a little over 20% which is excellent as there was the holiday period in between. The film is a sure HIT and should emerge a SUPER HIT with even a decent hold on its second Friday. The film is doing blockbuster numbers in East Punjab and Delhi/NCR with other circuits are generally good barring the likes of Bihar, Odisha and Assam.

GOOD NEWWZ showed good growth of around 40% on its second Saturday to collect 11.50 crore nett. The growth is a bit less for a second Saturday but that is because of the holiday period and some of this Saturday audience would have seen the film over the holiday period.

Still its a very good 11.50 crore nett total taking the the total of the film to 144.50 crore nett. The film remains tops in East Punjab with around 20 crore nett in nine days, it only needs another 5 crore nett in the circuits to become the top grosser in the circuit which it should get. Delhi/UP is next best with 36 crore nett in nine days. Delhi city has collected a phenomenal 16.25 crore nett while Noida is equally outstanding with 5 crore nett. This 21.25 crore nett has come from just 60 theatres in Delhi city and Noida. The other sectors which make up the Delhi/UP circuit are not so strong. Ghaziabad is good while UP state is average.

GOOD NEWWZ had a very good second weekend as it collected 33.50 crore nett and took its ten day total to 158.50 crore nett. The second weekend of the film was very similar to MISSION MANGAL and HOUSEFULL 4 which collected in the 33 crore nett range also.

The film will cross the business of films like SAAHO (Hindi), TOTAL DHAMAAL and KESARI today (Monday) to become the seventh highest grossing film of 2019 and then its likely to finish in the range of 4th-7th as the top three cant be caught. HOUSEFULL 4, BHARAT and MISSION MANGAL are all in the 190-210 crore nett range and GOOD NEWWZ should also end up here though a lot depends on the third week when it faces major competition for TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR and CHAAPAAK. The plus could be these films are not the Delhi/Punjab type of films. So GOOD NEWWZ could still get a big chunk of the audience there where it is so strong.
