DABANGG 3 collected 3.50 crore on New Years Day to take its total to 132.50 crore nett. The film has benefited for the holiday period which will mean a second week in the 20 crore nett which is more than BHARAT (2019) but without this period it was unlikely it would do better than BHARAT in the second week.

The 140 crore nett mark in Hindi for the film still looks far as there will be a huge drop in the third week which will be the last week of its run as there will be very limited screens in week four due to major new releases.

DABANGG 3 had a low second week of 20 crore nett apprx and this only came due to the holiday period; otherwise the numbers would be lower. The two week collections are around 133.75 crore nett and there is not much to come. At best it may just about reach 140 crore nett but can be tough as well.

The film will be the second worst performing Salman Khan of the decade after VEER (2010) and at the time of VEER, the expectations of a Salman Khan film were not like they are now. The film will have lower footfalls than TUBELIGHT though it will surpass VEER. DABANGG 3 and VEER  will be the only two Salman Khan films this decade not to get 1 crore footfalls. All the other released topped the 1 crore footfalls (this mark is like a genuine 100 crore film be it in 1969 or 2019).

DABANGG 3 collected just 50 lakhs nett on its third Friday which will mean another 80% drop in collections this week which means it will be a struggle to reach the 140 crore nett mark. Next week the film will hardly see any collections due to the release of new films.

The fair value of this film can be around 155-160 crore nett or even a little more due to the issues its faced in its first weekend. It could even be a little more as you cant judge public psyche at that time but even if its more the film is still a disappointment as eventually you should cover some of those losses and sustain if you have merits which this film did not.

DABANGG 3 collected 2.50 crore nett in its third weekend going 80% down from its last weekend. There was good growth on Sunday as mass markets showed went up but it hardly matters as collections are so low. The total collections of the film are around 134.25 crore nett and the film is probably looking at a 136-137 crore nett finish.

The film was dubbed in South in three languages but these did not fair well collecting under 5 crore nett which is half the business of WAR in dubbed versions. DANGAL and PADMAAVAT remain the top films in dubbed versions as both did around 13 crore nett in the dubbed versions. DABANGG 3 would not have had much of a market there as it looked like a South film while it probably needs a huge budget and extraordinary look to have some sort of break out of this low 10 crore nett range in South.
