Actors holidays before actor starts shooting for home production, with Tabu and Alaia F in London on June 18

Before he takes his upcoming home production Jawaani Jaaneman on the floors in London, Saif Ali Khan set out to enjoy the Tuscan sun with actress-wife Kareena Kapoor and their son, Taimur, over the weekend. The romcom is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Kakkar. It reunites the actor with his Hum Saath Saath Hain co-star Tabu and marks the acting debut of Pooja Bedi’s daughter, Alaia F.

“I’m spending some family time in at the Ferragamo estate. Next, I head to London to prep for Jawaani Jaaneman which will start on June 18,” the actor told Mirror from the Italian tourist hub, adding that after Navdeep Singh’s Laal Kaptaan, which is a revenge-drama, and the second season of his web series, “both really tough shoots”, this is just what the family needed.

After sporting long hair and a beard for his turn as the antagonist Udaybhan Rathod in Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, the 48-year-old actor has been grabbing eyeballs with a decidedly contemporary look that is accentuated by a beard and short spikes. “It’s about time I got a new look,” Saif chuckles, adding that unlike popular opinion, his son was fonder of his period-drama avatar. “Tim says he wants to grow his hair long too, while my wife and family were quite relieved to see my new look like most people.”
