Vicky Kaushal: Uri' has been the most physically demanding film
MID-DAY (October 9, 2018)

Vicky Kaushal has said his upcoming film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, has been his career’s most demanding one. The film is based on the 2016 surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Special Forces.

“Uri has been physically demanding. I’m waiting for the trailer to be out to see how people react,” he said. “The real heroes are the army officers, we are just portraying them and doing that itself is a challenge. They are actually living these lives. Hats off to them. It’s not easy to do what they do,” he added.

The actor was speaking on the sidelines of a beauty awards gala recently. He was also asked about Tanushree Dutta’s allegations that Nana Patekar harassed her 10 years ago on a film set. He said, “Harassment and misconduct at workplace or anywhere else is not right. When someone comes out and speaks about something which has happened to them, the least we can do is listen to them because it’s not easy to speak about it in front of the world,” he replied. “So listen to them. At the same time, it’s important to listen to the accused. Whenever something of such gravity comes out it should be investigated.”
