VEERE DI WEDDING had a good first week of 52.75 crore nett and is a successful film. The film had a very good weekend of 35 crore nett and then held pretty well for two days before falling on Wednesday and a further drop on Thursday but that was mainly due to the release of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM.

There was KAALA in the South also and that film opened well in Tamil Nadu but VEERE DI WEDDING was not doing much in that area anyway. The film has done very well in Delhi NCR and East Punjab (despite competition film Punjabi film CARRY ON JATTA 2 which is breaking records) but most of the other circuits are just decent.

The first week collections of VEERE DI WEDDING are as follows.

Monday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 5,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 52,75,00,000 apprx

The film now needs to consolidate on its second Friday because another major fall will mean the contribution in week two will be not be good and then in the third week there will be RACE 3 meaning limited business as screens will be minimal.
