Ever since they started dating four years ago, Sonam Kapoor and her Delhi-based businessman beau Anand Ahuja have tagged their relationship #EverydayPhenomenal. And their wedding on Tuesday, was nothing short of phenomenal. All the pre-wedding functions and the pheras were simple, classy and elegant.

Sonam and Anand tied the knot in a traditional Sikh ceremony at the actress’ maternal aunt Kavita’s sea-facing bungalow, Rockdale, in Bandra. The bride looked resplendent in a red lehenga by designer Anuradha Vakil, and completed her look with heavy jewellery. The dashing groom was dressed in a beige sherwani with a turban to match the look.

While Anil Kapoor was dressed in an ivory bandhgala and emerald neck piece on his daughter’s big day, brother Harshvardhan chose a grey and white classic bandhgala outfit. Sonam’s sister Rhea opted for a fuchsia ensemble.

The Kapoor clan — uncles Sanjay and Boney and cousins Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, Khushi and Shanaya — were all present at the Anand Karaj, which was also attended by a host of Bollywood biggies, including Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Rani Mukerji.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were spotted with their toddler, Taimur, who looked adorable in a baby pink kurta. Aamir Khan was accompanied by wife Kiran Rao and son Junaid. Among the other attendees, Karisma Kapoor and Sonam’s besties Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker looked stunning in their colourful lehengas.

Meanwhile, a day earlier, white was the theme at Sonam’s sangeet and mehendi ceremony. The celebrations, attended by close family members and friends, were held at Sonam’s Bandra Kurla Complex residence. The actress looked stunning in an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla white and gold lehenga, and her look was rounded off with a kundan choker, matching earrings, maang tikka and bangles. To further add a traditional touch, she wore her hair in a long braid, decked with a white gajra. The groom-to-be was also dressed in traditional white attire.
