In Alibaug, SRK’s 52nd birthday bash kicked off a day earlier with a grand luncheon for wife Gauri, children Suhana and AbRam, and close friends Farah Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Katrina Kaif, Sussanne Khan, Seema Khan, Kaajal Anand, Vikram Phadnis, Malaika and Amrita Arora, Anu Dewan, Dolly Sidhwani, Bhavana Pandey and Maheep Kapoor, among others. SRK’s chefs also arrived in Alibaug for the grand party.

KJo had invited Farah, Sid and Alia to ride with him in his chopper while the others took SRK’s yacht out. Farah and Sid were colour coordinated in monochrome stripes.

After wrapping up her portions as Rani Padmavati with a cake cutting ceremony on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period romance, which is still being shot with Ranveer Singh at Film City, Deepika Padukone arrived in Alibaug. From lazing around on the villa’s private beach, Suhana with her friends, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday took off for some dirt-biking.

The guests were busy clicking pictures, and Katrina and Alia captioned theirs, “contento chicas” and “girls uninterrupted”, while simultaneously being photo bombed by AbRam.

“At midnight, a cake with 52 candles was brought out for SRK. The dancing continued until sunrise,” a source from the bash told Mirror.
