Nayandeep Rakshit (DNA; October 4, 2017)

After many Shakespearean tales, Vishal Bhardwaj was planning a small budget comedy starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kriti Sanon. It’s a small, but special film for the filmmaker, who after making his last film Rangoon with megastars, feels he doesn’t need star power in this one. While the director wanted Kriti, things didn’t work out with the Raabta heroine.

Now, Vishal has found a replacement. Aditi Rao Hydari and Nawaz will be seen together for the first time. Aditi has loved the script. Our source adds, “She is in advanced talks with the makers and is most likely to sign the dotted line soon.” The shoot starts in the coming months.
