Sanjay Dutt's come back venture, the Omung Kumar directorial Bhoomi, is an emotional revenge drama, which has the actor playing Aditi Rao Hydari's dad. The movie's trailer, which has been appreciated by the audience, depicts a father's courageous fight for his daughter, after a tragic accident derails her life.

Talking about the movie, Sanjay voiced his opinion on an issue that has been debated for years -giving capital punishment to rapists. He said, “There should be no mercy for those who commit heinous crimes like rape. There is nothing worse than committing a crime that is not just violent, but also inhuman. Rapists deserve capital punishment."

Bhoomi, produced by T-Series and Legend Studios, releases on September 22.
