FAST & FURIOUS 8 continued to lead at the box office with collections of 2.50 crore nett. This was double the business of the new Hindi release NOOR despite FAST & FURIOUS 8 being on its second Friday and that too after an extended first week. The hold is fair and it should cross 10 crore nett for its second weekend and the film will probably come out the fourth highest grossing film ever for Hollywood in India. The business of FAST & FURIOUS 8 till date is as follows.
First Week - 65,25,00,000 (8 Days plus PP)
Second Week - 2,50,00,000 (Friday)
TOTAL - 67,75,00,000
BEGUM JAAN had a huge drop on day eight with collections being down close to 90%. There is no doubting the film is a big flop but the collections do look better this week considering what has happened to NOOR which is a similar film but is not even doing half the business of BEGUM JAAN. The business of BEGUM JAAN till date is as follows.
First Week - 15,25,00,000
Second Week - 40,00,000
TOTAL - 15,65,00,000
