FAST & FURIOUS 8 had a fair second weekend of 11 crore nett. Although the drop is there the collections are still more than double of the new release NOOR. The total of the film stands at 77.50 crore nett after its second weekend and it should finish up at around 85 crore nett assuming the film manages to get a screening or two at multiplexes when BAAHUBALI 2 releases on Friday. BEGUM JAAN had a big fall in the second weekend as collections were nearly 85% down from the previous weekend. The film is going to stay below 20 crore nett for lifetime business which is a poor result. The WORLDWIDE theatrical share will not even be 10 crore. FAST & FURIOUS 8 continued to lead at the box office with collections of 2.50 crore nett. This was double the business of the new Hindi release NOOR despite FAST & FURIOUS 8 being on its second Friday and that too after an extended first week. The hold is fair and it should cross 10 crore nett for its second weekend and the film will probably come out the fourth highest grossing film ever for Hollywood in India. BEGUM JAAN had a huge drop on day eight with collections being down close to 90%. There is no doubting the film is a big flop but the collections do look better this week considering what has happened to NOOR which is a similar film but is not even doing half the business of BEGUM JAAN.
