Earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra shot a special video with Sidharth Malhotra at buddy Karan Johar’s behest. Directed by Shakun Batra, it was wrapped up in a day and Sid headed to Amsterdam with Alia Bhatt on Sunday while PeeCee partied with directors Tarun Mansukhani, Karan Malhotra, Punit Malhotra at designer Manish Malhotra’s Bandra residence on Tuesday night. She was still in the US when Manish had brought in his 50th birthday.

KJo was in the Big Apple and Srishti Behl-Arya was on a vacay too, but the 34-year-old actress-producer who came with mum Madhu Chopra, had filmmaker Goldie Behl and his actress wife Sonali Bendre for company, along with Dia Mirza and hubby Sahil Sangha, Neha Dhupia and Sofie Choudry. Sushant Singh Rajput also stopped by to party with Quantico’s FBI agent. Sheetal Mafatlal made a rare appearance but stayed away from the photogs and selfies.

“Priyanka had not seen Manish’s new house which he had moved into in April and loved it. It was a small, quiet dinner with only 10 guests, Punjabi khana and great conversation,” reveals a guest from the bash.

PeeCee was at her sassy best as she fielded queries, including one on the subject of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s choice of name— Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi—for their newborn son. It is no one’s business what a family decides to do and what happens within the four walls of their house. It is such a wonderful moment for them and Taimur is such a beautiful baby. He already has Kareena’s pout,” she noted, adding, “The child is going to be a Prince and people need to focus on that.”

When she was asked about Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut, xXx: Return of Xander Cage coming with her Baywatch in 2017, she retorted with a smile, “I have always said that Deepika is extremely talented and beautiful. The trailer looks amazing. I hope Deepika gets the kind of recognition she’s aiming for.”

On Wednesday morning, PeeCee took off to Goa with her mum, Madhu, and brother Siddharth, in a chartered jet. “My plan for New Year's Eve is to hang out with my friends and family. I’m going to be in Goa because I have a home there. So I intend to be awake into the wee hours of the night," she revealed. Next, she will directly take off to New York from there after ringing in the New Year on home turf.
