MUMBAI MIRROR (December 16, 2016)
Huma Qureshi, who romances The Hundred Foot Journey actor Manish Dayal in Gurinder Chadha's Viceroy's House, was required to spend two-four hours on makeup to get her look, as a Muslim girl in 1940s-50s India, right. Her stylists took to tying her hair in tight braids, untying them just before the shots, to achieve the cascading look from the era, a la Madhubala. In a cast headlined by Hugh Bonneville as India's last Brit Viceroy, Lord Mountbatten, the historical drama sees Huma in the role of a Muslim school teacher.
