The matriarch of the first family Bollywood, Krishna Raj Kapoor has been in of Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital for close to a fortnight now.

She was admitted for age-related health issues. Her sons Randhir and Rishi Kapoor have been constant visitors along with her daughter Rima Jain and bahu Neetu Kapoor. On Wednesday, Rishi had only just arrived at the trailer launch of his next film when he received a phone call intimating him that his mother's health was failing. The actor's face turned ashen and he rushed to be by her side. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was in Mehboob Studios for a shoot, wrapped it up quickly and hurried to the hospital to see her grandma.

The concerned family members were all praying, and just before calling it a night, a source from the hospital said that the senior Mrs Kapoor's condition had stablised. Though she was still in the ICU, she showed signs of recovery. At the time of going to press, we were told that there was nothing alarming. We wish her a speedy recovery.
