HERO has a had a fair first week of around 30 crore nett but collections came down from Monday onwards. The total is mainly due to the decent weekend collections and due to the drop from Monday the film will not add much in the second week.

The business of the film was pretty good in Mumbai, CP Berar and CI over the weekend but only CP Berar and CI held over the weekdays. The film has done reasonably well in these two circuits. a hold in Mumbai over the weekdays could have made a difference to the film as it represents a large chunk of all India business.

The film failed in North India from day one as Delhi/UP grossed around 6 crore nett and East Punjab was less than 3 crore nett. It remains to be seen how big the second week drop is but its unlikely that the film will gross much more than 35 crore nett.
