PK has chances of grossing 100 crore nett in week two. The film has grossed 53.25 crore nett in its second weekend compared to 93.50 crore nett in first weekend - a drop of 41%. If this drop is followed through the week then the second week collection will come to 106 crore nett as the first week collection was 181 crore nett.
Thus, A 41% drop on 181 crore nett will give collections of 106 crore nett. The week is similar as there is holiday on both weeks, on Thursday. The likely scenario is that the drops in the weekdays in the second week will be more than the first week but still 100 crore nett in on.
The second weekend business of PK is as follows.
Friday - 14,25,00,000
Saturday - 17,00,00,000
Sunday - 22,25,00,000 (early estimate)
Total - 53,25,00,000
The total collections for the film in ten days are 234 crore nett approx and it will become the highest grossing film ever before its second week is finished. PK is on course to become the first week to collect 100 crore nett in Mumbai circuit as it has already grossed nearly 80 crore nett in ten days.
