Talk of Shah Rukh Khan teaming up with Kajol continues?

Rohit Shetty denied it point blank when asked. However, speculation that Kajol has been signed for the director's
next, being made for Shah Rukh Khan's home banner, continues. An
industry source maintains that she signed the movie on August 14.As for
Rohit's denial, our source maintains, “SRK and Rohit have planned to
announce their venture once the principal cast has been signed on, with
all the dates and other terms in place.“
Incidentally, there is speculation of Rohit making something that is inspired by Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi - the 1958 Kishore Kumar film that saw the singer-actor with his two brothers Ashok and Anoop Kumar. Yet others are saying that the new film draws inspiration from Romesh Sharma's Hum (1991). One trade source even quoted the amount that was paid to Sharma for the rights.
However, the cast and subject matter continue to remain mere speculation because he who knows best, i.e. Rohit, doesn't wish to discuss the new film till the end of October, which is when his first draft is expected to be ready.
