No khushi, still gham

 The rift between former best friends Karan Johar and Kajol is well known in the film industry. But the feud threatened to spill over in public recently.

The duo who worked together in a number of films including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham and My Name is Khan, came face to face on Sunday evening. Both Karan and Kajol attended common friend Manish Malhotra's show at a recently-concluded fashion week.

In happier times, the friends would sit together on the front row, chatting away as the models catwalked on the ramp. But, this time they looked through each other.

"They sat far apart and didn't even acknowledge each other's presence when all the other guests were greeting each other," an eyewitness told Mirror.

Added the source, "Kajol arrived before Karan and they even entered through different gates."

While Kajol kept to herself, Karan was seen having a long conversation with Gauri Shinde.

Kajol and Karan's friendship went sour a few months back reportedly following a row between Ajay Devgn and Karan. Ajay confronted Karan in a telephonic conversation about rumours that he was making unpleasant remarks about him--an allegation Karan vehemently denied. Whether some mischief monger poisoned Ajay's ears is still not known.

The actress chose to side with her husband then, and obviously still maintains her stance.
