Kat, Ranbir hit it off

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are currently in South Africa for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos and the trip is proving to be an adrenaline fuelled one. Mirror has learnt that yesterday the stars ventured deep into the jungles to shoot some high-octane action.

They canned a grit-and-grime sequence that left Katrina with a heady high. Reason: She didn't have to pout and preen like a doll around Ranbir who's playing a sleuth in the film. She was part of the action.

And to ensure that she got it right, Katrina has trained in a specialised martial arts form as part of her homework. Confirmed a source close to the actress, "Yes, she has been undergoing training in Krav Maga."

Krav Maga is self-defense system developed for the Israeli armed forces. It combines techniques from boxing, savate, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Judo, Jiu-jitsu, wrestling, grappling and realistic fight training.

The actress had earlier learnt scuba diving for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and a mix of martial arts, gymnastics and a bit of parkour for another multi-starrer which released last year.
