Alia Bhatt recently went on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 to promote her film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, it seems that she was unaware of having to meet her halfsister Pooja Bhatt’s former flame, Ranvir Shorey, who is one of the hosts on the show.

A source says, “Alia was on the sets of the show and she performed on the song, Saturday Saturday. On camera, things were fine, but off it, she chose to completely ignore Ranvir; she didn’t even speak to him. She did have fun on the show, but post her performance, she preferred to not indulge in any small talk with him.” Another source adds that even though Ranvir and Pooja’s soured love story is a thing of the past, no one in the Bhatt family is in touch with Ranvir. “In fact, Ranvir was doing his duty by asking her a couple of questions, but she just answered them without even looking at him.”

When contacted, Alia denied the story.


Ranvir and Pooja’s love history

A few years ago, during the shooting of her film, Jism, Pooja Bhatt and Ranvir Shorey started dating. But later, he was reportedly arrested on charges of assault.

According to Pooja, Ranvir had arrived at her residence in an inebriated state and had created a huge ruckus. Her brother, Rahul, is said to have attacked Ranvir in a bid to protect his sister, so Shorey is said to have filed a case against him. The matter is said to have been eventually resolved amicably.
