Mahesh Bhatt planted false stories about me-Ranvir Shorey

HINDUSTAN TIMES (August 14, 2024)
Actor Ranvir Shorey dated actor Pooja Bhatt in the early 2000s. However, their relationship ended on a bad note, with Pooja accusing him of being “physically violent” towards her. In a recent chat, Ranvir opened up about the break-up and how Pooja’s brother, Rahul Bhatt, and father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, were also involved in that ugly phase of their lives.
“At the time we had a conflict, I felt that the respect I had for him (Mahesh), he used that manipulatively. When the fight happened, he told my father, ‘Okay, we will rest the matter here.’ Next day, he got utter lies printed about me, planted false stories in the media and painted me as an alcoholic, abusive person. All lies,” the actor told YouTuber Siddharth Kanan.
Ranvir added, “Pooja’s brother was the one who assaulted me. He (Mahesh) could have told these guys not to talk like that.”
Ranvir married actor Konkona Sen Sharma in 2010, but they separated after five years of marriage. They have a son, Haroon Shorey, 13, in shared custody.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became proud parents to a baby girl on Sunday morning. The couple shared the news on social media, and their family members followed suit. Some family members, including Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, were seen visiting the couple on Sunday evening. Alia’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt, who has been away for work, hasn’t been able to meet the proud parents and baby yet.
Sharing his excitement, he told BT, “I am overwhelmed. I haven’t been able to see the child, but I am just happy that both the mother and the baby are hale and hearty because that’s very important.”
He further added that his father, Mahesh Bhatt, is extremely excited to meet the little one. Rahul shared, “He’s the proudest person right now. He couldn’t wait for the baby’s arrival. What has happened is that he has had three daughters (Pooja, Shaheen and Alia), so it is a déjà vu of sorts for him. He is comparing this to the time when his first daughter, Pooja, was born.”
Talking about new parents, Alia and Ranbir, Rahul says, “Alia is very responsible, and I think Ranbir will be an extremely hands-on dad.”

Onkar Kulkarni (BOMBAY TIMES; April 16, 2022)
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on Thursday in a private ceremony at their home in Bandra, which was attended by close friends and family members.
After the wedding, Alia shared a few pictures from the ceremony and wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home… in our favourite spot — the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship — we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together… memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia (sic). ”
Alia’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt says, “It all went well. The functions were exquisite and well-managed. Both the groom and the bride looked like a prince and princess. It feels great to be a part of the Kapoor family, and I must say they are such wonderful people.”
The couple took four pheras instead of seven pheras, he says. Talking about his now brother-in-law Ranbir, Rahul says, “Ranbir is the right choice for Alia. Just like Alia knows to pick her films, she made a good choice in finding herself the right life partner. I always believe that destiny is a matter of choice, not chance.”
Rahul says he saw his father, Mahesh Bhatt, in a never-seen-before avatar. “I saw my dad in his element at the wedding (laughs!). I had never seen him in his traditional wear, going all out sporting a turban. He was very happy and having a gala time mixing and mingling with the Kapoors. Soni (Razdan) was very emotional.”

Sugandha Rawal and Vinay MR Mishra (HINDUSTAN TIMES; April 13, 2022)
Contrary to reports that actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding has been postponed, her half-brother Rahul Bhatt, who’s been quoted in the reports, confirms to us that the wedding is happening on the pre-decided date.
“The wedding is happening this week. I haven’t mentioned the date to anyone. All I can say is that it is a matter of time till you see an official release from their side. I can assure you it will happen before April 20,” Rahul says.
Reluctant to give out any more information about the wedding, he hints that the venue might change due to the increased media presence outside Kapoor’s home. “The venue might shift to Taj Hotel, Colaba to avoid paparazzi. The arrangements are being done as we talk,” says Bhatt, adding, “I have been told to switch off my phone, but I can’t do that because I have to be accessible to my clients.”
As for the other wedding preparations, we have learnt that it is kept on a strict budget. Also, there won’t be a grand sangeet ceremony or bachelor party. “There is no elaborate sangeet planned, they may dance at the mehendi function,” a source says, adding that there will be a joota chupai rasam, too. “Ranbir is likely to give Rs. 1 lakh to Alia’s girl gang,” shares the source.
“Even the photographers have been chosen by Alia and Grishma (Shah, Bhatt’s manager) and they haven’t shot any celebrity wedding before. As for the mandap, a female set designer has been brought on board,” says the source.
Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been reportedly invited for the varmala ceremony.

After bride’s half-brother says Ranbir-Alia shaadi postponed to April 20, uncle Robin asserts no change in plan; says couple want hush-hush marriage
Upala KBR (MID-DAY; April 13, 2022)
With Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s wedding only a day away, preparation is on in full swing at the RK bungalow in Chembur as well as at the Kapoor and Bhatt residences. Amid all this, on Tuesday, the to-be-bride’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt threw a curveball when he claimed that the shaadi of the year had been postponed to April 20, owing to security concerns. Alia’s paternal uncle Robin Bhatt, however, confirmed to mid-day that the nuptials are lined up on April 14, as per the original plan.
“I don’t know of any change in the wedding date or of any security issue. I have not been informed about the postponement. As far as I know, their wedding is happening on April 14 as scheduled. It’s definitely not on April 20,” says the writer.
Over the past few weeks, the wedding has taken centre-stage in tinsel town. The couple’s families have been tight-lipped about it, with even Mahesh Bhatt maintaining an uncharacteristic silence. Happy as he is for the lovebirds, Robin says, “I don’t know why it’s being done quietly. It was Ranbir and Alia’s call. It’s an unusual marriage because the children are taking all the decisions. It is their life, their marriage, and they know their minds. The elders are to [respect] their wishes and give their blessings.”
The pre-wedding festivities will begin today. While the haldi, mehndi, sangeet and wedding ceremonies will take place at the RK bungalow, a glitzy reception for their industry friends will be held at a suburban five-star hotel later in the week. Kapoor has also booked the banquet hall in Vastu, his Pali Hill residence, for the entire week.
A source close to the family says, “Conflicting dates are being thrown around to avoid media frenzy. The security has been beefed up at Vastu and RK bungalow, and colour-coded wristbands have been given to the staff to ensure no one enters the venues without the necessary permission. Ranbir is an intensely private person, and did not want a destination wedding. Instead, he wanted an intimate affair where his near and dear ones can witness his union with Alia. To avoid the paparazzi, ahead of the wedding, Alia will head to the Bhatts’ farmhouse in Kalote, which is only an hour away from the RK bungalow.”
The wedding guest list is restricted to just over 100, and includes Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji.

Onkar Kulkarni (BOMBAY TIMES; April 10, 2022)
Over the last few weeks, there has been much speculation about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding date, venue and other details. Bombay Times spoke exclusively to Alia’s half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, who revealed some interesting details about Bollywood’s big, fat upcoming wedding ceremony.
Rahul said, “Yes, the wedding is happening and I have been invited. I will be there for the ceremonies. However, I am not going to sing and dance. I am a gym instructor by profession and I will be there in the capacity of a bouncer (laughs!). I will be the rakshak at the wedding.”
Rahul feels proud that at such a young age Alia is doing so well in life. He said, “I am really happy to see what she has achieved at such a young age. She has got a great body of work and she has found fame, fortune and real love, which is non-existent in today’s time. She has been blessed with everything because of her choices, the Almighty, the blessings of her parents and good karma. At the right age, she is making the right choices.”
Ask Rahul if Alia discussed her idea of love and relationships with him while she was growing up and he shared, “I am not the kind of a brother who she would discuss all this with. She was too scared that I would go and beat up the boyfriend instead (laughs!).”
Lastly, talk about welcoming Ranbir to the family and Rahul added, “We have met as kids. In recent times, I haven’t met Ranbir in the capacity of Alia’s boyfriend. He has achieved so much in life. I think Alia has made a good choice.”

ALIA-RANBIR TO MARRY AT RK HOUSE, CONFIRMS ALIA’S UNCLE ROBIN BHATT
Alia Bhatt’s uncle and writer Robin Bhatt spoke to us about the excitement in the household over the shaadi . He said, “I am happy that Alia is getting married. As her uncle, I just wish that my niece and Ranbir live a happy life together.”
The duo is tying the knot at RK House, the family bungalow of the Kapoors located in Chembur. Interestingly, the venue is making the senior Bhatt nostalgic! He shares, “Alia is getting married to Ranbir at RK House where Rishi Kapoor (Ranbir’s father) too got married and I remember I was a part of that wedding as well.”
Vivek Oberoi ropes in fitness expert Rahul Bhatt, who trained Aamir Khan for Dangal, to attain lean physique for Kaduva

Transforming physically for a film can be an uphill task. Vivek Oberoi is required to attain a lean physique for the role of the antagonist in the Malayalam film, Kaduva. It is heard that the actor has roped in celebrity fitness trainer Rahul Bhatt to help him achieve the goal.
Bhatt — who had closely worked with Aamir Khan to help him sport two distinct looks in Dangal (2016) — has apparently put Oberoi on a new fitness regimen, coupling it with intermittent fasting. “Rahul makes Vivek work out thrice a day, which are done in short bursts and minus free weights. He doesn’t want the actor to achieve a cosmetic alteration, and is instead focusing on making him fighting fit. The diet involves 20 hours of intermittent fasting, while the actor simultaneously shoots for the film. Rahul is ensuring that Vivek’s BMR [basal metabolic rate] is consistent. The idea is to get rid of body fat and develop muscle strength, while keeping a check that the metabolism doesn’t slow down,” says a source close to the actor.
Bhatt has travelled with Oberoi to Kerala where the unit is filming the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer.

The Bhatts marked Mother’s Day on Sunday by assembling at the youngest family member Alia’s residence which she shares with sister Shaheen for a quiet family dinner. The filmi family was particularly excited to have Pooja and Rahul Bhatt join in, with Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, after a long time. The menu for the evening was overlooked by the matriarch.
Mahesh told Mirror, “The evening was planned by Alia, she’d wanted us all to catch up since a long time. When she invited us over on the family Whatsapp group, everyone instantly agreed. Both my girls had a hectic day as Alia had just returned from Dahanu (after releasing a rescued sea turtle back into the ocean) and Pooja was preparing to leave for her farmhouse for a shoot, but they still made it. The party started early, at 8.30pm, as I have dinner at a fixed time, and wrapped up by 10. Sunny (Rahul) is into fitness so the conversation revolved around that. Soni’s TV show went on air on Monday so everyone was excited about that too.”
Despite so many stars under one roof, it was Alia and Shaheen’s cat Edward who stole the show. “Edward kept everyone entertained, even when he retired to his quarters, Pooja kept clicking his pictures. We also clicked a family picture at Pooja’s behest,” Mahesh Bhatt signs off.

Actress marked Mother's Day by launching a 90-kilo turtle back into the ocean before having family over for dinner
Natasha Coutinho (MUMBAI MIRROR; May 15, 2017)
Animal lover Alia Bhatt, who
has three cats - Pica, Sheeba and Edward - marked Mother's Day on Sunday
by visiting the Dahanu Forest Division Office, that releases animals
back into nature after rescuing and treating them. The 24-year-old
actress released a 90-kilo sea turtle named Queen back into the ocean
with the help of Dhaval Kansara (Founder-Secretary of Wildlife
Conservation and Animal Welfare Association) and veterinarian Dr Dinesh
Vinherkar.
The move marked the launch of her new initiative, CoExist, which is aimed at animal welfare and tackling environmental issues. “I had been thinking about this for a while. Issues like elephants or dogs being ill-treated, stories of endangered animals like tigers being poached, have always bothered me. I've been passionate about animals ever since I was very young. My sister (Shaheen Bhatt) and I would always rescue kittens and cats, foster them for some time and find them homes or keep them with us. My idea with this initiative is a world where man lives in harmony with animals and nature,“ Alia told Mirror.
While two of her upcoming projects, Ayan Mukerji's Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boys with Ranveer Singh, are nearing kick-off, Alia maintains that she will be taking some time off from the projects to dedicate herself to the initiative. “There will be different campaigns I will be doing over time. When I was releasing Queen, Dr Dinesh noted that it was ironic since the turtle was going back to its mother (the sea) on Mother's Day. People like us need to be the voice of animals. It was a great way to kickstart my initiative because I'm a Mumbai girl who lives by the sea. If I can make a difference in any way, it will be a step in the right direction,“ Alia contends.
The actress returned to Mumbai the same day to celebrate the day with mom Soni Razdan and the rest of the family at her new house that she shares with Shaheen. “I had the entire family over for dinner after a really long time. It was a special day because Pooja and Rahul (step-siblings) were present, along with my parents, under one roof. That has not happened in a really long time,“ she signed off with a smile.

I’ll always cherish the memory of the four of us cycling on the island-Mahesh Bhatt

Fresh from a holiday in Maldives, Mahesh Bhatt celebrates his ‘dysfunctional family’, which has created a new ‘normal’
Roshmila Bhattacharya (MUMBAI MIRROR; December 20, 2016)
Mahesh Bhatt has just returned from a four-day vacation in the Maldives, deconstructed, and is trying to put himself back together. The family holiday was Alia’s gift to her mother, Soni Razdan, on her 60th birthday and Bhatt marvels at how his 23-year-old daughter who is all for staying “fiercely connected”, has given birth to the whatsapp group where she keeps the chatter going. He admits that he had willingly thrown himself into work and set out to achieve all that he has. And though he has no regrets, he realizes today, at 68, that while he has given his four children— Pooja, Rahul, Shaheen and Alia— everything, he held back the most important thing and it was time to give more of himself.
So, the workaholic writer-filmmaker who was never into vacations, allowed himself to be persuaded into going on this break with Soni and daughters, Alia and Shaheen. He found himself in a villa with a private beach, mesmerised by the pristine beauty and overwhelmed by the explosive silence. “I’ll always cherish the memory of the four of us cycling on the island. I bought a Panama hat which cost a bomb and even got myself sunglasses for the first time because the sunlight was too bright,” he reveals. “The real treasures of this holiday were not just the splendid sights of nature but the treasures hidden within oneself... Of gratitude, compassion and the sense of ‘we-ness’. The real treasures of life waiting for me to discover them.”
He also discovered how big a star Alia had become as people approached her for photographs, autographs and to rave about her performances. He was also left dumbfounded by Shaheen’s unique connection with wildlife, including sea turtles and fishes. He’s equally moved by her piece on depression in Mumbai Mirror and will have it framed for his study. “Unlike me it wasn’t an act of bravado. She wrote about the paralysing biochemical aberration with a candid simplicity. To see your child look into the abyss of depression and not blink but emerge stronger is a proud moment for any parent,” he says.
Since his return, he’s also been bonding with son Rahul and admits it’s another proud moment when people call his fitness guru son the architect of Aamir Khan’s impressive wrestler body in an upcoming film. He’s also moved to hear Rahul talk about him in glowing terms in recent interviews. “We’ve had a wounded past, but it’s never too late to make up and rebirth a father/son relationship,” he reasons, pointing out that in a strange paradox, his four beautiful children who have come out of what people believe to be a dysfunctional home, have gone on to to create their own normal, living life on their terms.
Next year, his daughters will collaborate on a project for the family banner, Vishesh Films, with Shaheen scripting Aashiqui 3 and Alia top-lining the cast. How does that feel? “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch, this is showbiz,” he warns. “Yes, the script is in Shaheen’s young and capable hands but when Aashiqui 3 will become a go-go project, we’ll know only by and by. The intention is there, but as we have seen many times before, there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip.”
Aamir Khan's fitness coach refuses to deny or accept that he took steroids for Dangal

Rahul Bhatt doesn't deny or accept the charge that the actor acquired his Dangal physique that way
Subhash K Jha (DNA; December 9, 2016)
A fitness coach Ranveer Allahbadia has released a video on the internet which clearly insinuates that Aamir Khan has used steroids to get an incredible physique in Dangal.
Rahul Bhatt, Aamir’s fitness coach throughout the making of Dangal, refused to either deny or confirm the charge. Dismissing Allahbadia’s assumptions as inconsequential, he says, “It would amount to breach of confidentiality for me to talk about this. All I can say is, steroids are an occupational hazard in the entertainment industry. It would be naïve to believe that its consumption is nil, and to deny its existence.”
So is Rahul tacitly admitting to the use of steroids for Aamir’s miraculous makeover? He protests, “I am not admitting to anything. Just how my client got that physique, or how any entertainer gets into shape is a matter between the client and the coach. I am not at liberty to talk about this.”
He adds, “Let’s put it this way. If I had a son and he wanted to be an actor I’d never let him mess around with steroids. And only a qualified fitness coach can guide you through a proper regime where you don’t mess up your metabolism with mindless abuse.”

Aamir’s Dangal trainer Rahul (filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s son) deconstructs superstar’s fat to fit transition in just five months
Sonia Lulla (MID-DAY; December 8, 2016)
"This was plan A,” says Rahul Bhatt, as we scroll through his phone, scanning the diet chart that whipped a 97-kilo Aamir Khan into an athlete with a 9.6 per cent body fat, for his wrestler-biopic, Dangal. A list of healthy delicacies is generously sprinkled with what the average fitness enthusiast would refer to as ‘bad’ food – breads, poha and pulses. “We didn’t cut out carbohydrates, because then, he’d [Aamir] be thinking about food all the time. Besides, given his activity level, he needed the energy.”
Rahul also shows us a Plan B that would have been put into use, had the actor been unable to benefit from the first chart. “This would have been completely devoid of carbs. Fortunately, we never had to use it.” Bhatt helped Aamir shave off 30 kilos in a span of five months for the portrayal of Mahavir Singh Phogat in the Nitesh Tiwari-film. However, while the actor’s fans have applauded him for the transformation, others suspected that a transformation of this nature couldn’t have been executed without the use of steroids. “When we didn’t even need to use a stricter diet plan to produce the results, why would we need steroids?” questions Rahul. “Aamir’s transformation was a result of sheer perseverance and sweat. There is no substitute.”
Steroids, agrees Rahul, may be resorted to by those who want to look great, irrespective of the follies in their regimen. “Aamir was aspiring to look like an athlete, and so, trained like one. He put in close to five hours a day training,” he adds. Highlighting the actor’s daily routine, Rahul informs that Khan’s days would usually commence at 4.30 am, with an exercise routine that comprised compound movement and cardiovascular activities. “There was an AM workout and a PM workout. In addition, there was almost an hour of wrestling practice,” he says, adding the actor would also play squash and tennis.
Rahul also incorporated weight training with functional movement. “Aamir needed to build his body for aesthetic purpose. In order to enable his muscles to look bigger, we made him execute multiple sets of the exercises with six to 12 reps.”
After the mathematical analysis, the “ magic number” of 2,400 calories was arrived at for Khan. “We’d alter this number depending on his activity level each day. Also, Aamir took a keen interest in the science behind the training. Once he understood the process, he fully cooperated. He can squat twice his body weight, press one-and-a-half of it and lift thrice as much,” informs Bhatt, who is currently working on developing his own chain of fitness studios. “I want to bring the guru-shishya culture into fitness training. Applying scientific techniques to methods used by the pehlwans in the villages, I wish to revive old-school regimens in today’s time.”
Prod him for a name for the chain, he pauses for a moment, and as though having just arrived at one, announces, “Akhada!” It may be recalled Rahul met David Coleman Headley at a gym in Mumbai when the latter recced the city for terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba’s masterplan for 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Along with journalist Hussain Zaidi, Rahul penned a book named Headley and I, talking about him and his love for Indian women and Armani clothes.

Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul on the process of coaching Aamir Khan for Dangal
Subhash K Jha (DNA; December 3, 2016)
You’ve seen the pictures, no doubt. The ones showcasing how Aamir Khan gained 97 kilos for his role as Mahavir Phogat in Dangal and then dropped 20 kgs for parts of the same film, that is.
The man behind both looks is Mahesh Bhatt’s son, Rahul. “It was my responsibility to lay out the blueprint for his physical coaching. The year I spent coaching him through his weight changes was a learning experience for me, though. I’ve not seen such fierce dedication and passion in anyone.”
So did Aamir follow Rahul’s instructions blindly? “Not at all. Aamir has an encyclopaedic mind. He absorbs and filters facts according to his requirements. He listens carefully. He can differentiate between fact and conjecture.”
Training would begin early every morning. “Aamir would wake up at 4 am for the workouts. There were basically three steps to his training. The psychological aspect is the most important. Then the diet and finally the training. All he needed was to be convinced of the psychology of weight loss, the rest just followed naturally. It was ‘mind over fatter’ all the way.”
After a year together, Rahul still doesn’t think they’re friends. “Though I was his personal trainer, it was all very professional. I was invited deep into Aamir’s personal space. A confidentiality had to be maintained. I had to safeguard his privacy and mine. I had to safeguard his health and make sure he was injury-free. I’ve achieved that. His success is my success.”
Bhatt goes a step further and insists that many celebrity personal trainers are unqualified. “I am not a trainer. I am a coach. A lot of people are in it to make a quick buck. These trainers are sycophants, part of the stars’ entourage. Only an exceptional man like Aamir Khan can hire someone like me.”

Alia Bhatt is the Meryl Streep of India-Rahul Bhatt

Vickey Lalwani (MUMBAI MIRROR; February 27, 2014)
Not so long ago, Rahul Bhatt had gone on record to say: “Mahesh Bhatt never treated me like his own child. It's the raw uncut truth about my relationship with my father. I was vulnerable. I had no father to guide me in my growing years.”
But the two seem to have put the frayed relationship behind and made a new beginning as Mahesh Bhatt is ready to launch his son in a co-production with daughter Pooja. The director has not yet been finalised but sources close to Rahul reveal that Pooja herself might wield the megaphone.
The film, titled Bad, will go on floors next year and Mahesh Bhatt says, “I am not in the business of launching my kith and kin in movies. But suddenly, everything fell into place and I found a script which fits Rahul like a glove.”
Insisting that “everything is fine between me and dad now”, Rahul says, “The past is history and the future is a mystery, the present is all that matters. Whatever I had to say, I wrote rather articulately in my book Headley & I. Now let’s let bygones be bygones.”
Mirror has it that Rahul’s character will have grey shades. The 32-year-old actor is unperturbed about debuting with a dark role and says, “I play a rather twisted character, those traits are in me too and hence I guess I won’t have to try too hard.”
Other than being bad, how is Rahul preparing for the debut? The fitness trainer already has a buff body and says that he has no plans to lose the muscle. “I have a big built, that’s how real men are. I plan to continue being a gym instructor as that is my passion and I do it for a price,” he asserts.
Rahul earlier made headlines for his alleged association with 26/11 Attacks accused David Headley and in 2002 he was arrested for allegedly assaulting Pooja’s then partner Ranvir Shorey. Then, came the tell-all book. A Bollywood career would require him to remain controversy free. How does he plan to do that?
Parting shot. What does he think of stepsister Alia Bhatt’s acting career? Pat comes the reply, “Exceptional! She has come up with an awesome performance in Highway. She is the Meryl Streep of India.”
Mahesh Bhatt to finally launch his son Rahul

Subhash K Jha (DNA; February 25, 2014)
It has been long-due. Finally Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul, who has been waiting in the sidelines, will be making his acting debut in a film that Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt will co-produce.
The wannabe actor, in the news for his association with David Headley, has talked about his troubled relationship with his father in the book Headley & I.
A major part of the bitterness that Rahul felt towards his father stemmed from the fact that Mahesh chose to launch many newcomers through his production banner but ignored his own son.
Mahesh maintained he wasn’t in the business of making movies to promote his kith and kin. Five years ago Anurag Basu was supposed to launch Rahul in a film entitled Suicide Bomber. Nothing was heard of that project after the announcement.
Says a source, “Rahul is very much into stunts and action. The role that Mahesh and Pooja have in mind for him seems tailor-made, though neither the film nor the role was designed for Rahul. Mahesh would never promote his own son.”
When asked about the father-son collaboration Mahesh said, “It’s too early to start talking about it.”
