HAI JAWANI TOH ISHQ HONA HAI collected 12.75 crore nett in its second week which is a 65% drop from the first week and takes the film to a 50 crore nett overall total in two weeks. The second week collections are better than SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI but it still remains behind that film.

SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI stood at 51.75 crore nett after two weeks while here its 50 crore nett. The difference is that eight day first week for SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI with the first day being a national holiday. The actual performance of HAI JAWANI TOH ISHQ HONA HAI is a little better than the earlier Varun Dhawan starrer as the Hindi circuits scored better.

But this may not come out in the numbers due to that holiday first week for SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI and a run with less competition. The release of COCKTAIL 2 and then a big release every week will curtail its run and remains to be seen if it can get 55 crore nett.

The other holdover, BANDAR, was a washout in week two and will finish with 4 crore nett lifetime. There were reports that the maker of this film wanted more screens for this film but the fact is if you have content you can score with with even a 50 screen start. Meanwhile, BANDAR started with more than 500 screens which is actually way more than content like this deserves and the second week has proved that.
