After Mithun Chakraborty recently confirmed actor Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, HT City has learnt some exclusive details about the film.

A source tells us, “Shah Rukh’s character steps in the film when Rajinikanth’s character calls him in a situation of dire need. Both actors will be seen together in the frame and deliver a powerful performance. Shah Rukh plays the role of Rajinikanth’s close friend and confidante, whom he trusts with his life.”

The film is in its last leg of shooting and will wrap up the schedule this week in Chennai. However, SRK’s cameo hasn’t been shot yet. “They have got a separate date to shoot Shah Rukh’s part. It will happen sometime later this month,” another source reveals. The production is ensuring that every look is kept under wraps with heavy scrutiny over cameras on sets.

The Nelson Dilipkumar directorial will also mark Vidya Balan’s Tamil debut.
