MARDAANI 3 collected 2.25 crore nett on its first Monday dropping around a little over 40% which is not bad but also not good. The film has middling numbers and a middling trend. The total collections of the film are almost 19 crore nett and it should get a jump on Tuesday due to the discounted rates.

The drop means that the film is unlikely to do the business of METRO...IN DINO although the Monday of MARDAANI 3 is a little better than that film but its coming from a higher Friday as well. The two other films in the franchise did 36 crore nett and 46 crore nett. So, it remains to be seen where this gets as compared to these two films.

If it can get to around 45 crore nett, its a decent result for the film as its much more difficult for these type of films as compared to the time the other films in the franchise released due to so much of this type of content available at home on television. The first week can go to around 25 crore nett and then its about the second weekend.

MARDAANI 3 picked up 2.50 crore nett on Tuesday, going up a little from the Monday due to the discounted rates which now takes the film to almost 21.50 crore nett. Now it remains to be seen how it collects over the last two days of the week which will be a test. Over the first five days, the business is decent.

The film has an open week to take advantage of in the second week but for that the next two days, it has to hold otherwise it will not matter much. MARDAANI (2014) collected 23 crore nett in the first week while MARDAANI 2 collected got 28 crore nett and here it should be 25 crore nett or close.

MARDAANI 3 collected 25 crore nett in the week which is a reasonable collection and the trend is reasonable as well. You would want these types to be stronger on Monday as this is where these type of films can work from and 40% down is on the higher side. The business on the rest of the weekdays was okay as drops were all normal.

If the film can hold well on its second Friday and get over the 40 crore nett mark, it will be a fair result for the film. It will be less than the last film in the franchise but times are different now. There is not much competition this week. So, it should be able to hold well enough on the second Friday. The target is to get as close as possible to the Thursday number.

The film has fared best in Mumbai and Mysore and West Bengal also, though the latter could have been better going by the box office of the last two MARDAANI films. The other main multiplex dominated areas of NCR and East Punjab are not good but that is expected with a film in this zone and its Mumbai feel.

MARDAANI 3 held well on its second Friday as collections were little higher than the previous day as it collected around 2 crore nett. This should give the film a chance to hit the average mark as collections are less than 50% down from the first day and this trend should pretty much be similar over the whole week.

The collections of the film are now at 27 crore nett which is on the lower side but it should now cover some ground over the weekend and after as the hold is there on the second Friday.

There were a couple of new releases in VADH 2 and BHABIJI GHAR PAR HAIN but they did not really make much of an mark to affect the collections of Mardaani.

For the record VADH 2 collected in the 45-50 lakh nett range while while BHABIJI GHAR PAR HAIN will be around 15-17.50 lakh nett range. The former's first part released in 2022 when it did around 65 lakh nett. VADH 2 will beat that number but its not a film where a second part should really be happening.
