SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI collected in the 3-3.25 crore nett range on Monday taking its five day total to almost 34 crore nett. The hold is fine from Friday as its just a little over 40% but that Friday was not the first day and the collections had dropped giving it a low Friday. The collections are down from the first day but that was a national holiday.

The trend is actually a litter better than expected with the business on the weekend and Monday having a tendency to fall hard due to the discounted Tuesday but the problem is that the collections are low.

These films like SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI, PARAM SUNDARI and TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA have all had similar collections on Monday and all been driven by offers to entice the audience. TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA went on to do well at the box office and it remains to be seen what SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI can do. It has an open run till Diwali. So, there are another two weekends left for the film but it can only get some benefit if collections hold towards the end of the week.

The first week will comfortably cross 40 crore nett. TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA grossed 41 crore nett in a week and this can be more than that but it will be over eight days. The holiday benefit on day one is making collections look better as without that, they become much lower.
