SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI managed a 40% jump on Saturday and it should have done better where the jump is similar to the one for KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 especially as this film caters to places which do the best on Saturday. The film collected 7.50 crore nett apprx on Saturday which takes the film to almost 23 crore nett after 3 days.

The film is doing better in the metros like Mumbai, NCR and Bangalore which is pretty much on the expected lines but that is not enough for a film like this today. In the pre pandemic times, it was a different story as these places almost with a couple of the other centres could drive a film to success.

The film is almost 20% down on its first day which is probably too much. The film really had to get over the first day collection on Sunday but this Saturday makes that 20% jump on Sunday for a film doing best in a few metros a tough ask. It had to match the trend of KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 on Saturday as on Sunday it was always not going to match the South film growth due to lack of mass appeal.
