KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 did very well on its third day as collections jumped 70% from the previous day and collected in the 19 crore nett range. The film has a total of 48 crore nett so far in three days and can comfortably target a 70 crore nett plus weekend. The target was to reach the day one number but it managed to go past the first day number.

The film is doing excellent business in the Maharashtra belt as the film opened to strong numbers here and even  the third day has gone past the first day. The jump was huge in Mumbai circuit as the film almost doubled its collections. CP Berar and Odisha also are doing fantastic business with the latter on course to be the best of 2025. Basically the out performance is in areas where traditionally the dubbed South films have always done best.

The business is weaker in the North but the film can get away with that if the Mumbai area can sustain. The film has a shot at good growth on Sunday as mass pockets can jump and if they do, then the film can set itself up for the weekdays. It will have a good run till Diwali and is potentially a HIT film in Hindi.
